Gamification is the education topic du jour. With new game-based learning environments being touted as a solution to all the problems of the modern classroom, we urge the G4C community to question trends before investing in them. Provocative voices from diverse sides of the gaming-for-learning industry rant against the idea that any of the models already in use are particularly effective applications of video games in the classroom. Attendees may get puzzled or confused, or simply take away a new lens for looking at gamifying schools (or schoolifying games).
I'm not sure if I've ranted about how much I love Disney yet. Because I love it. A lot.
Is it just me or is Walt Disney World really a different world? Everyone is happy, everyone is smiling, and everything is perfect. The resorts, (ok, I know I sound REALLY creepy, but the resorts in Disney smell really good. Maybe it's a cleaning product they use or something. Hmm..), the parks, the restaurants, the pools, EVERYTHING is spectacular and simply magical.
On my most recent trip in January of 2009 my family and I stayed at Old Key West. This picture was taken on my balcony looking out onto the golf course through the Mickey-shaped hole on the side.
We’ve always seen a lack of color in front of the camera at the cinema. But on television, not only are we seeing more female leads with their own shows, we’re also seeing more diversity in ethnic casting of characters.

Just a tiny little rant. Rhe's body is driving me insane!!!! I swear one of her legs is longer than the other, I can't keep her feet from sticking together, and she ALWAYS wants to look up! She is the most kicky girl I've ever owned! ARgh!
Also, she almost knocked Cyn off the shelf when she decided to kick over into her. THAT was almost the last straw! I was all I WILL SELL YOUUUUU! (Rhe is going to have to watch her back after that one. I don't think Cyn is one to take almost being bumped off (literally) very lightly! LOL)

Sometimes people ask me where I find the things I make photos of. I just tell them you have to get out of the house and go somewhere you've never been. Everything new looks interesting the first time you've seen it. I'm pretty sure the 'trailer' in the video is an old railroad boxcar. On the right day, I'd probably kill a whole roll of film just walking around this area.
