Portstewart Bombing Range

-

I was going to have a look for the arrow at Portstewart Bombing Range but it was a horrible cold and wet day. I did ask a golfer if her knew where it was but he had never seen it.

-

Wondering if this small structure by the roadside is connected to the range or just drainage, sewerage, golf course related or whatever!

With friends in Silverthorne, we've begun to get acquainted with the Gore Range. Here, Charlie and I are en route to the Eaglesmere Lakes.

Just a flower or two I picked, and threw on my desk, to experiment with some HDR imaging.

Eastern cottontail is the most common species of wild rabbit in North America and ranges from southern Canada into South America. This one was seen in Montell, Uvalde County, Texas where we generally see them. They seem to have learned that the humans here do not pose a threat and will continue feeding as we walk around them and occasionally when I'm sitting with my camera, they will approach fairly close as if to see what I'm doing. They know to high-tail it when the dogs are loose. I usually see them in the early mornings and just before dusk.
