Driving from Melbourne to Perth, through the Flinders Ranges, Ayers Rock, Gunbarrel Highway with Colin
The Flinders Ranges are the largest mountain range in South Australia, which starts approximately 366 km north of Adelaide. The discontinuous ranges stretch for over 430 km from Port Pirie to Lake Callabonna.
Elite grabbed their cowboy hats and saddled up their horses for a night at The Range in Hillcrest. Yee-haw!
These are pictures from the Iron Range OHV park in Gilbert, MN in July of 2011. This was a 4x4 class taught by www.ironrangeoffroad.com. These are all the pictures taken by the participants in the class. There was one instructor (white CJ8) and three other Jeeps who were the students.
A view in the opposite direction of the best preserved section of the 2000 yard long Line Target looking back towards the start from the top of the Sub Pens earth mound. From here on to its ending at Ashley Hole, the line becomes indistinct, although traces of the 100 yard wide cross arms that mark the end of it can still be made out, even from the ground.
