The drive over the dirt road and walk back up the steep track was worth it to see this beautiful beach.
During the previous week's dogwalk, it was clear we hadn't yet reached peak color, so I resolved to return in a week, and so managed to catch it just in time.
During the next week storms are forecast, so many of these trees will lose their leaves and there may be little color left in another week.
