Range Rats is the nickname for the team of workers and technicians who tracked the missiles and rockets fired from Cape Canaveral. Working from tiny island outposts that stretched across the Caribbean and Atlantic almost to the coast of Africa, they were a vital part of America's space-race team. This weekend, a group of nearly 100 gathered at Lone Cabbage fish camp (Florida) to share memories and renew friendships.

Quite a lot of the HTI 1/64 range has now been replaced with a range of very generic looking castings in the same vein as the ones which can be found in Toys R Us stores sold under their Fastlane brand. The majority of them don't appeal to me at all but some such as this look believable enough to be loosely based on a real vehicle. This Fire vehicle must surely be based on the stylish and unique looking Range-Rover Evoque with its dramatically sloping roofline and graceful styling. This of course is nothing more than a budget model but still manages to have an interior and clear plastic headlamps. Part of a two vehicle Teamsterz branded set currently available in Poundland. Mint and boxed.
C3 range at Burro Canyon Shooting Park during our monthly fun shoot. Fourteen people showed up this month, which is about the most I would want to have for fun and safety. The target stand for plastic bottles at 25 yards lies collapsed at upper left (someone shot the PVC support).
Later that night Burro hosted the first Calguns Zombie Shoot, and 300 people showed up. Apparently, and unsurprisingly, there were a few safety issues that night.
