First photograph for the class. C: I was actually quite surprised with the turn out of this one, though there is a lot of exposure in the back. It seems though, that it gives it a simple backdrop.

So, I hope you all like it! :D Can't wait to start taking more photos later!

I've also been looking into how to get my camera information into the image, and it says something about EXIF Data...? I have no idea how any of this works, as Flickr, and cameras, are very new me. XD

Nichols Arboretum

This is Rake's exhibit. She manipulated 5 of the alice in wonderland photos. One of me, one of her and then 3 of both of us as Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. The ones along the bottom make us crack up every time as I'm pulling some damn strange faces...

There was no problem finding a good backdrop against which to photograph the hay rake!

One of State Forester Besley’s first tasks was to create a network of volunteer Forest Wardens to enforce Maryland’s new forest fire protection laws. At the turn of the century, uncontrolled fires took their toll, regularly leading to loss of life and property. Early forest wardens were trained and deployed to combat wildfires in an effort to protect the public and ensure that millions of seedlings being planted would survive.

The Maryland Forest and Park services were founded in 1906. These photos were archived in celebration of their centennial in 2006.
