I have a few granary and elevator shots on hand - so thought I would begin posting a few over next few weeks.

Na SBB Cargo werd naar de rechter Rheinstrecke verplaatst. De schaduwen trokken erg snel op, dus lang konden we niet meer in Niederheimbach staan. In Kaub passeert de 185 580 van Captrain met een beladen autotrein richting Saarbrücken ons. Wekenlang reed deze trein met een 187, uitgerekend op deze 14 september 2016 zat er een 185 voor..
The Louisville & Indiana's Z550 has just picked up a string of cars off the Indiana Railroad and is heading up the ramp. Their 25th anniversary unit is on the point with their Veterans unit trailing. Down below the Indiana Railroad's SAHW road train is pulled down and waiting on a road crew to show up for their run south out of town. The Indiana Railroad's 25th anniversary unit also happened to be in that power set. I haven't done a lot with either railroad but was certainly happy to luck into a day where the LIRC interchanged with the INRD catching both classy Indiana Railroads in one frame. Spotted this train on the way back from shooting mountain scenes, and had to step on it to get ahead of the train and in position to take the photo. This is just north of Arlee, Montana, population 636.
For my morning constitutional, I headed down to the river to take pictures of the railroad bridge, my solitude broken only by a lone kayaker and a bunch of kids who, based on their woohoos, had reached one of the milestones of their river pilgrimage.
