A pair of Amtrak AEM-7s are on the point of a westbound northeast regional in Bridgeport, CT. Only 919 is providing power for the train.
CN 2326 leads westbound train '406' as they round the bend, on the approach to Hampton, New Brunswick. Fall is really starting to show their colors for this shot.

It was a very short, but brilliant, color season in northern New Hampshire this year. Everything went from blah to spectacular in a few days.

Tra tutti, quello che mi ha sempre impressionato di più è il Trisannabrücke, tanto è vero che l'ho sempre chiamato solamente "il ponte".

Luckily, camera with telephoto was ready when I crested the public bridge that leads to the Four Corners Generating Station...although as I'm now discovering, this shot really breaks no new ground on this operation.
The Navajo Mine Railroad unit coal train, lead by E60C "LOE 33," approaches the generating station after a visit to the Navajo Coal Mine.
Out of view on the other end of the train is ALCo C425 "control cab" LOD-7.

Here is a slightly different night time perspective of the old rail car loading dock on Windsor, Ontario’s riverfront with downtown Detroit in the background. Up until the 1980’s most of downtown Windsor’s riverfront was covered in rail tracks with three docks available to load box cars onto ferries. The city of Windsor was able to buy up the riverfront land and convert it into 5 km (3 miles) of open parkland. Two of the loading docks remain as a reminder of our past railroad riverfront.
