Happy Sliders Sunday!
It all started with the reflection of the deck railing in my niece's glasses... then a slide tide rolled in.
Sitting on the railing of downstair's balcony, looking up at me in an inquisitive way when I called its name. How he manages to balance on such a narrow railing, I don't know. (He was waiting for his owner to come home from work).
Toronto at 6am - Railing along the seawall in the park behind the R. C. Harris water treatment plant on Lake Ontario.
Icicles hanging off of the railings on St. Joseph’s North Pier. Just when you think Spring is right around the corner. . .
at the Valley Building library.
It's an interesting building. This is a light and airy section for reading/working, with circular stairways to upper stacks (the railing on right), located between the main part of the building and the deep stacks of bookshelves.
At the entrance and on the edge of Stanley Park, the Sea Wall offers a very pleasant journey. It is 22 kilometers (14 miles) in length, and is often quite busy. Wide enough to carry the marching crowd, and also enjoyable enough for others to saunter.
In this shot, the man-made stone like railing extends to the edge of the Park. This is the point where it begins, and leaves the downtown area of Vancouver. As you can also tell, colors show it is taken at sunset.
Vale Park. Is in New Brighton,..... During this cold weather some kind person decided to knit Caps fof the railings, to keep them Warm..
Not exactly a fence, but sort of. The yellow rope held the bait bucket as we fished off the pier. If you squint at it, you can also pretend it's a very skinny yellow tree boa wrapped around a branch.
