A railing and wall was being eaten slowly by rust. Cropped in post for symmetry, and added contrast to bring out the rust.

Climbing some railings in Ardoyne while on walk about with the International Peripatetic Sculptor’s Society.

Great idea. Very popular too.

listen : Sailing

I am sailing, I am sailing

Home again ′cross the sea

I am sailing, stormy waters

To be near you, to be free

I am flying, I am flying

Like a bird 'cross the sky

I am flying, passing high clouds

To be with you, to be free

Can you hear me? Can you hear me?

Through the dark night, far away

I am dying, forever crying

To be with you, who can say ..............

At the entrance and on the edge of Stanley Park, the Sea Wall offers a very pleasant journey. It is 22 kilometers (14 miles) in length, and is often quite busy. Wide enough to carry the marching crowd, and also enjoyable enough for others to saunter.

In this shot, the man-made stone like railing extends to the edge of the Park. This is the point where it begins, and leaves the downtown area of Vancouver. As you can also tell, colors show it is taken at sunset.

Shot with my new (to me) Pentax A 50 f1.2 at f1.2.

I am liking the narrow depth of field and bokeh has a bit of character which I like.

Not exactly a fence, but sort of. The yellow rope held the bait bucket as we fished off the pier. If you squint at it, you can also pretend it's a very skinny yellow tree boa wrapped around a branch.
