The ceremonious morning autoracks continue if all else fails.
Union Pacific 2578 and 6183 continue uphill through San Timoteo Canyon as they pass the Doctors Crossing with seventy-five empties headed for the Kansas City Southern de México at Laredo, Texas. Solid move on going to the north side of the crossing hadn't really thought of trying this side before but it definitely has it's use in the earlier hours, if you can even call this early.

It was my son's school holiday and it was high fog. I thought, we should do something pleasant so I checked out the webcam on top of Wendelstein. That is a mountain, which we can see from home. The weather was great, so we jumped into the car and spend some nice hours with a great view, some food and drinks, some birds jumping around on the table and taking pictures (of course).
The Wendelstein is a 1,838-metre (6,030-foot) high mountain in the Bavarian Alps in South Germany. It belongs to the so-called Mangfall Mountains, the eastern part of the Bavarian Pre-Alps. It is the highest peak in the Wendelstein massif. Due to its exposed location it has a very good view over the Bavarian Alpine Foreland and is unmistakable for miles around. It lies between the valleys of the Leitzach and Inn and is accessible via the Wendelstein Cable Car and the Wendelstein Rack Railway. On its northern foothills rises the Jenbach, which becomes the Kalten on its way to the River Mangfall.
Local valley settlements include Bayrischzell, Brannenburg (rack railway) and Osterhofen (cable car).
Look what I found! I went shopping today and came across this little shop full of tacky jewellery display items. This was mean for earrings but the racks a perfect size for 16" doll heels! Finally a way to display some of my shoes. Every time I look at it the song "I Want Candy" just starts playing in my head. :D

won't be long before we test and tune, then into the spray booth to freshen up paint
I now have 130 lbs of honey in jars and about 100 lbs more in tubs. ..and I have more still to take off from hives.

We went out for dinner tonight and as we were leaving the restaurant we discovered another great use for the bicycle rack. :)
Lock gear to empty or fill the chamber as required, a simple valve traditionally, a flat panel (paddle) lifted by manually winding a rack and pinion mechanism which allows water to drain into or out of the chamber

Bowling in Taipei....beautiful afternoon with amazing friends. It was a wonderful time. Loved every moment of it.

New railway track complete with the toothed centre for the cog on the train to engage and pull the train up steep inclines and slow it on declines too. Taken at Wegen, and the track looks pretty new and clean at present.
It is possibly a boring shot for most folks so apologies.
