Focus mechanism for my Speed Graphic view camera. For the September 17 Macro Mondays theme "Cogwheel." Four images focus-stacked.
The camera was manufactured in the late 1940s or early 50s. I bought this one, used, with my paper route money and took pictures for my high school yearbook during the late 1960's.

Rock Your Rack Event
(RYR)
Rock Your Rack is the annual fundraiser started in October of 2012 by Jamee Sandalwood and the team at Models Giving Back. MGB is the grid leader in trusted charity events. We do it all and have for several years now with one person responsible for the entire event. Jamee takes care of everything from Designers, to bloggers, to musicians, to models.
The little black dress with a twist, is exclusive for RYR Event.
With The words Shut the Fu*k up cancer, and as a 2 time cancer survivor I agree 100% with that sentiment.
RYR runs from October 2, 2021 through October 17, 2021.
If you think about it, this funny-looking coat and hat rack makes a lot of sense. Unlike smaller, more pointed hangers, the balls won't distort or mark your clothing items...or worse--tear the fabric if the clothing item is quite heavy.

NS 1137 switches Toyota Distributors on Jacksonville’s Westside. This job easily has 100 auto racks when working. The crew backs down the spur where another locomotive will shuffle empty auto racks down their assigned tracks and an employees from TDI will load the cars.
We have a cheapo table/storage unit in our living room that has a
built-in wine rack near the bottom. It stands against a big picture
window that looks out to the east. We've filled the wine rack, not
with full wine bottles but with spent ones that we've filled back up
with water and food coloring in different colors. Here's one of the
green bottles.
I was walking towards the Caffé Umbria when it occurred to me to test the OneStep SX-70 without the ND filter. As I was getting ready to snap the photo the man--probably in his late 60s-- that was walking towards the door hurried his step and covered his face with the paper.
Okay. So he evidently did not want to be in the photo. No problem. It probably was not going to come out anyway. Right?
So in I went, made the queue and waited for the barista to take my order. I was distracted looking at the pastry/gelato/ Fiori chocolate case for a while but as I turned to give my beverage order I noticed the gentleman standing not far from me, smiling.
The photo finished developing as I waited for my drink to be poured so I showed it to him while making a funny comment about how he was making a run for it to avoid being in the photo but that he should not worry as his face would not come out anyway. The barista wanted to see it too.
I was handed my coffee and I sat by the window with the T-Style I grabbed from the magazine rack. About 30 minutes later the same gentleman, on his way out the door, came over to my seat and handed me his New York Times, wished me a nice day and walked away not before I thanked him and complimented him on his gesture.
A row of bike racks stand alone, save two locks left behind.

Tule Elk are a subspecies of elk only found in California. I was lucky to find these bull elk with huge racks so close to the road at Point Reyes.

The ceremonious morning autoracks continue if all else fails.
Union Pacific 2578 and 6183 continue uphill through San Timoteo Canyon as they pass the Doctors Crossing with seventy-five empties headed for the Kansas City Southern de México at Laredo, Texas. Solid move on going to the north side of the crossing hadn't really thought of trying this side before but it definitely has it's use in the earlier hours, if you can even call this early.
SOOC world please forgive me but I had to have a play with fractals. It was my first proper use of Photoshop and i wont be making a habit of it... we still ain't friends

Look what I found! I went shopping today and came across this little shop full of tacky jewellery display items. This was mean for earrings but the racks a perfect size for 16" doll heels! Finally a way to display some of my shoes. Every time I look at it the song "I Want Candy" just starts playing in my head. :D
We went out for dinner tonight and as we were leaving the restaurant we discovered another great use for the bicycle rack. :)
Lock gear to empty or fill the chamber as required, a simple valve traditionally, a flat panel (paddle) lifted by manually winding a rack and pinion mechanism which allows water to drain into or out of the chamber
