Its a busy time... work is really good at the minute and im stacked out with it... the last thing I need is you giving me stress...
Just let me get them done.. I have worked solid for the last 21 days.. and im talking 7:30am-midnight.. sometimes longer..she dont moan when she needs me to pull a wad of cash out my ass for something she has seen and wants !
Its not good for me.. but it needed to be done.. I have had a right mixture of images from studio model shoots...to weddings and even shop interiors..
I knew if I got it done I could have 4 days off.. including a weekend. So quit your moaning woman and let me get on with it.
There were sometimes when I was in the "editing zone".. you know... when you have a big batch of images.. like 200.. and they all need processing differently..
So I was head down.. and just got on with it... and she is moaning... maybe she could just have been talking.. but by this time it all sounds like nagging..
I just wanted to grab her head and launch it through the pc screen.. but that would have done none of us any good.. how could I edit with her whole body shoved through the display.
I may have inner anger ? not too sure.. or maybe she just goes throughy a nagging phase once in a while..
Well im all done !! ive edited thousands upon thousands of photos.. and now we are having a well deserved break..
I just chucked this quickie together to say "whooo I can still do a bit of photoshop !!" ha ha ha
We are all going for a picnic today near some old ruins.. not taking the camera !!! its local.. I can photograph it anytime..
But I will take the little video recorder and may upload something later.. so you can meet the family...

This is another of the Akron Zoo Eagles that were injured to the point of never being able to be returned to the wild, however you can see by the proud look they still have, they Never say quit!

Basílica del Voto Nacional (también llamada de la Consagración de Jesús, o Basílica de San Juan (por el sector en el que está ubicada)) es un edificio religioso de estilo neogótico del centro histórico de la ciudad de Quito D.M.. Por sus dimensiones y estilo está considerado como el templo neogótico más grande de América. Se ubica en el sector conocido como Santa Prisca, en las calles Carchi y Venezuela, junto al Convento de los padres Oblatos.
Datos curiosos
Una leyenda popular local dice que, el día en que se termine de construir la Basílica en su totalidad, el Ecuador desaparecería como estado libre y soberano.
En el punto más alto de la torre principal se puede observar toda la ciudad y las montañas que la rodean.
Existe un muro de 3 m de alto, conocido como Muro de las donaciones, en el que se talló los nombres de todos aquellos que contribuyeron económicamente a la construcción de la iglesia.
Durante la fiesta de consagración de los terrenos en los que se construiría la iglesia, se levantó una cruz que representaba el lugar en el que el ex presidente Gabriel García Moreno (impulsor de esta obra) había caído asesinado en el Palacio de Carondelet.
Existe una abertura intencionada en el rosetón ubicado en el acceso principal, que tiene la forma del corazón de Jesús coronado por una cruz latina.
El gobierno de León Febres Cordero fue uno de los que más fondos donó a la obra en los últimos años.
Desde el altar ubicado en el crucero, y a través del corazón de Jesús en el rosetón principal, se puede observar la colosal estatua de la Virgen de Quito, ubicada en la loma de El Panecillo.
En la sala capitular del convento se guarda el corazón del ex presidente Gabriel García Moreno.
En lugar de las tradicionales gárgolas francesas, en la fachada de la Basílica del Voto Nacional se dispusieron figuras de animales endémicos del Ecuador, tales como caimanes, tortugas de Galápagos, piqueros de patas azules, armadillos, monos aulladores, pumas, entre otros.
En el centro del rosetón que se encuentra sobre el coro occidental se puede apreciar el Ojo de Horus, uno de los símbolos de la mitología egipcia.
En el convento y la Basílica se guardan más de cuatro mil obras de arte de varias épocas que aún no han sido inventariadas

I had not planned on stopping my 365 after seven years, but what's the point? Why do I even photograph anything? I've seen a lot of people leave flickr, and many people stop photographing and publishing altogether. Maybe it's time I did too.

I really love the summer shots of Lomochrome Purple XR film I took a couple of years back, so I decided to load up my trusty AE-1 with another roll for this past season. Certainly a film I hope to return to many more times.
Taken with Canon AE-1 analog camera. Lomography LomoChrome Purple XR 100-400 film, slightly expired.
