I always find timelapse stuff interesting and this is no exception.
EOS Utility to trigger the camera every 10 sec. Opened in Quicktime as an image sequence and saved out as an MP4 and re-encoded for Flickr's filters using DivX Converter.
What I like: I was going for the transition from day to night and that was achieved. I liked the way the clouds moved across the sky, and the way the shadows moved and dimming when the sun went behind the sun.
What I don't like: To a certain extent it's obvious - dislike how the shutter action seemed to nudge the camera to the left. Dislike the reflection of the room in the window. Should have taken out the 2-3 frames I used to capture more detail on the clouds. Not framed nicely. Not enough detail on the clouds. Should have been more aware of my reflection on the timelapse.

A video recording of the Macintosh emulator Basilisk II playing a QuickTime video from the 1992 CD “Apple Chronicles” from Apple Computer, Inc. This video uses the QuickTime Animation (RLE) codec, and it plays incorrectly in several non-Macintosh video players, such as VLC, MPlayer and mpv. I was bored, in a studio with PowerMac G5. Wanted to see the limits of Expose... 350 Quicktime windows...
RAW (DNG) -> Colour Correction (Lightroom) -> Image Sequence (QuickTime exported at 23.94fps) Warp Stabiliser (After Effects) -> Output: 4000x3000 at 29.97fps
Chose 23.94fps to slow it down slightly, then changed it to 29.97fps rate to match our working sequence in Premiere. Probably not the best method to interpret footage, but it looks smooth.

sidenote:
quicktime X is kinda lame:
no autoplay, no fast-forward etc., no settings / AV controls / movie properties (!!)
i know it's meant for consumers and all, but at least give me (as a more advanced user) a simple switch to disable it for movie playback altogether.
(disclaimer: i like its looks and i also like screenrecording, but apart from that 'meh')

These aiff files are in the /System/Library/Sounds folder. Playing them through the QuickTime Player works just fine.

The screen shot is from a video/movie shot on a iPhone 3GS, showing the locatio as Latitude & Longitude within the metadata of the QuickTime file.
By clicking on the whight arrow (as seen in the screen shot) it will display the location within Google Maps on your web browser.
Took less than a minute converting to H.264 1280x704. I'm having a problem converting RED _F proxies to QuickTime H.264 though... keeps reporting QuickTime error 108.
Good to know that the unclean Snow Leopard upgrade didn't break Qmaster/Compressor like its known to do before.
