I took 18 different photos at 20 degree intervals in photo travel mode in Gran Turismo 4. I then used QuickTime VR Authoring Studio to stitch the panorama together and generate the QTVR file.

Slough, bog, swamp, marsh, wetland; whatever we call them, they are an essential part of our micro-ecosystems and society has finally given these small ponds their due importance as essential components of our environment.

My umpteenth vist to NY and only my first time to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. What a magnificent view of the architecture of the bridge and also Manhattan.
Taken in early February 2011, I had just begun playing with timelapse photography. Seeing and hearing this storm was coming, I thought it would be a great opportunity. Setting the camera up to take a photo every 8 seconds towards the You Yangs, I never expected this end result 1965 shots (And a great light show at the end_.

On 4th and 5th February 2011, Victoria incl. Melbourne Metro region experience significant storms rainfall which Melbourne Water dscribed some areas as having "1-in-500 year rainfall intensity". The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) identified the event as being "one of the most intense ever observed in the Melbourne Metropolitan area". The storms were attributed to Tropical Cyclone Anthony and ex-Tropical Cyclone Yasi in the north of Australia.

9/30/2010: Image and color profile P10 of H.264 mp4 file encoded with Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 Pro. The image is a TIFF screen capture taken while playing the video in VLC Media Player 1.1.4 on a Vista-32 machine. The color charts are generated by Adobe Premiere Pro CS3.
There is little noticeable difference between the mp4 and wmv videos played in VLC Media Player (see previous slide P9). The image appears somewhat pale compared to Windows Media Player 12, but darker than QuickTime and RealPlayer SP (see slides P3 and P5-P8).

Dating back to the 1850s, all Yosemite-bound traffic once crossed this bridge. It was covered to help protect the wood from the elements and also so that horses would stay calm crossing over the raging Merced River. It was nearly destroyed by a flood in the 1950s and restored. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

To play .mov files on Mac, you can use VLC player and QuickTime Player which allows Mac and Windows users to view QuickTime multimedia either inside or outside of their web browser.
You can also choose to convert quicktime mov movie to dvd on mac without idvd, the output files can be played on portable or home DVD players.
Originally included on the CD “Infopedia 2” (Macintosh version) from SoftKey Multimedia, Inc. Converted from QuickTime file format to AVI, encoded with PNG, since ffmpeg doesn’t seem to copy the palette when copying the original (QuickTime Animation/RLE) palettized video data from the source file.
