Time Lapse made using QuickTime Pro. Viewing in HD should help.
Edited together using Windows Movie Maker.
And again... if you notice the song picks up where my previous time lapse video left off, which was "Borin' Sonoran" :)
This is pretty bad quality, but just a test run for a much better looking video to come. I used quicktime pro to compile the clip (1253 jpegs at 15 frames per second) and imovie to add music. Not the best programs and definitely not the prettiest video, but a successful first run. More practice videos to come....stay tuned.

Recorded using my old Sony CLIÉ PEG-NR70, which had a crude-but-fun camera that could do low-res Quicktime video. Too bad it stopped working.

Arcangel exploited the nearest neighbor interpolation that the QuickTime plugin used at the time of the work's creation, by embedding the videos nearly 3x their actual size. QuickTime now uses a blurry interpolation algorithm.

My first attempt at time lapse. I'm aware its jumpy but had a few issues where I could not exactly replicate position ie my son knocking over tripod. Its also fairly low res Jpeg as quicktime was jamming up on playback with larger jepegs in the intial cuts. Thorikos is an ancient town located on Attica's eastern coast just north of Lavrion. The area was known in antiquity for its silver mines which furnished Athens with much of the basis of its power and wealth.
One of the archeological sites in the area is the ancient theater of Thorikos. It was built of stone in the 6th century BC and it is peculiar due to its unique orthogonal stage and its allipsoidal shape. The site is unguarded and easy to access. There is no admission fee.
While shooting, I met with some archeologists from the Belgian Archaeological School in Greece who were in the process of cleaning the theater from the weeds. You can see in the photos that they had cleaned part of the seating area and they were to continue with the rest.
Bit dark, don't know what the quality will be as converted using QuickTime Pro 'Export to Web' - probably got it wrong!!

Development Board for Rural Wales (DBRW) website designed and built by Paul Fillingham and Ian Lawrence. The site incorporated QuickTime VR panoramic movies and won a Cream Award for CHC multimedia in 1997.
Originally included on the CD “QuickClips” from Apple Computer, Inc. Converted from QuickTime file format to AVI, while preserving the original video (Apple Video/Road Pizza) and audio data.

I attached a camera to my boat (A peinert 26 single scull) and went for a spin on Percy Priest Lake in Nashville, Tennessee, where my club, Nashville Rowing Club, is located. Frames were taken every 3 seconds, and then merged together at 15 prames per second in Quicktime Pro. The oars are painted purple in honor of my alma mater, Williams College.
Note: This diagram comes from my personal understanding. If someone speculate the wrong point, it'll be very appreciated.

Shot with a 5dmkii and a 135L.
Edited in Lightroom2.6, Quicktime Pro and Sony Vegas 8.0.
800 shots over an hour. All the shots were small size jpegs to save on space.

While doing this timelapse i have learnt a few new tricks. Firstly, panning and zooming, and music editing using Sony Vegas. I've also learnt that Lightroom can be extremely temperamental when editing large quantities of pictures.
Please excuse the shakiness, i haven't figured out how to stop the wind from blowing.
