Kyleakin taking a quick break while enjoying play time with me in the garden, while on holiday in the Vale of Lune Cumbria.
While lying on the grass, camera in one hand, I had to wrestle the toy from her with my free hand and fling it over my head across the garden, before getting into position to take a photo as she charged back to me for another go. I'm not sure who was more exhausted afterwards.
Niederhorn is very popular with paragliders - hundreds of them and we enjoyed watching them launch of the slopes.
Quick Back Yard Visit. I took this using the stem as my guide and the end of the grass as my vanishing point...I like the results.
Taken with my 105 mm Nikon Micro Lens.
Just a few quick shots of 2 MAN buses from Valley Flyer working the 145 route services to/from Belmont/Queensgate. The purple bus is standard Valley Flyer livery while the Yellow bus is an ex Go Wellington bus reallocated to Valley Flyer, rebranded but still waiting a visit to the paint shop.

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

The Quicke family have been farming here at Home Farm, near the village of Newton St. Cyres in the South West of England, for over 450 years. 25 years ago Sir John Quicke and his wife Prue built the dairy, where Sir John’s daughter Mary continues to produce outstanding cheeses today. You can read Mary’s diary, or try out some of her recipes here.
The photo is not the clearest but I snapped it in a hurry. Two years ago I taught Link to ring the bells if he wanted to go outdoors. He caught on quickly. Jimmy Dean has never done it in 3 years. But it took Frank only 7 weeks to learn - if he wants to go out he stands and slaps the bells (I have them hanging on the door knob at the front and back doors).
This card is a very quick and simple card..... the ornaments are patterned paper from a Rosie's Studio Christmas pack, cut to fit the card and the sentiment is from a Sparkle Clear set from Hero Arts. It is just perfect for the paper.
took some quick snaps from the car to make a visual note to go back later (and also test out the ricoh grd iv's color CCD)
Quick garlic bread is an easy method to make oven toasted or skillet fried garlic bread with cheese and herbs. I thought of this way when I was making toasted cheese sandwich with olive oil and fresh thyme. This garlic bread recipe may require using thin, white bread instead of the common toast...
This would be the small storefront, attached to the Quick Trip, which could be rented to a liquor retailer, or whatever.
Quick Trip in Riverside illustrates the "1, 2, 3" growth often seen in QT locations.
There is the first store, with the stone facade, (now a laundromat) which probably did not sell gas, a second store, closer to a major street corner, and a third location (no pix yet) on an awesome property!
So I had a plan while driving home, to have a quick picnic with my gal, i know, not very fancy, but I thought to do it in the car right before she came over
I wanted to blind fold her at the car and she could be brought into the room with nice music
