Quick Montage of a few shots. Hopefully one day I will be able to compile all of the shots from the evening!
Off with Runyon at his favorite place on earth - Swift Run Dog Park (near the intersection of Platt and Ellsworth and across the street from Lillie Park). The ground was still kinda frozen - but that will change quickly. It does look like the surface of Mars. Pictures were taken on a bright and somewhat mild late Winter's day, Sunday March 7th, 2021.
For this quick card, I used one of the small Holiday Trees (LL259) with some distress ink, a pre-cut fabric swatch, and matching buttons. I swiped a coordinating color of distress ink along the bottom of a kraft card front. It was definitely a Minute Card (maybe 3 minutes to execute in the end).
When I mixed up a half batch of this quick fruit filled coffeecake that Julia just posted, I knew that I put it into too small a container to bake... But since I buttered the pan well, I just ran a knife around the outside and it turned right out.
It may look awful, but it was super tasty: not too sweet, and an excellent use for leftover jam-making pulp. Even though I had super seedy blackberry pulp, it was delicious! I used half wheat flour, half AP flour, yogurt for the buttermilk, and leftover crumble topping from these oatmeal muffins from 101 cookbooks that I had stashed in the freezer.
It was probably the fastest cake I ever put together.

Dashed down to the Regis and Kelly show in last years costumes to see if we could get on the show. The costumes are definitely made for cold October outside weather. Hot studio lighting, not so much!!

I spent today with my good friend Katie. We've known each other since my freshmen year of college. Happily, we currently live in the same area. In the afternoon, we went for a walk in the woods. It was such a gorgeous, warm day and the sun was doing such happy things to all of my shots. This is a quick self-photo of us. I like it.
