Ein Fischbrötchen und eine Pommes-Spezial an der Landungsbrücke in Hamburg ist inzwischen bei jedem Besuch der Hansestadt Tradition. Der eigentliche Hochwasser Schutzdeich wurde hier neu gestaltet. Bietet den Straßenkünstlern eine groß Bühne, lädt ein zum Flanieren, sowie zum Fotografieren. Die beiden DT5 Einheiten 417/418 mit Vollwerbung überraschten mich völlig und konnten nur noch in letzter Sekunde mit dem Handy aufgenommen werden. Sie werben für die App des Hamburger Verkehrs Verbund HVV.

A fish sandwich and a fries special at the Landungsbrücken in Hamburg has now become a tradition every time you visit the Hanseatic city. The actual flood protection dike was redesigned here. Offers street artists a large stage and invites you to stroll and take photos. The two DT5 units 417/418 with full advertising completely surprised me and could only be recorded with my cell phone at the last second. You are advertising the app from the Hamburger Verkehrs Association HVV.

My first time visiting RAF Lakenheath for Quick Climb Friday, where aircraft are allowed unrestricted climb from take off. We arrived at 7.30 am to a completely fogged in airfield, but within 15 minutes of our arrival the fog lifted and we were treated to a fantastic display of unrestricted climbs from these F-15E Eagles and also the F-35A Lightnings also stationed at RAF Lakenheath. RAF Lakenheath has two F-15E Strike Eagle squadrons, the 492nd and 494th Fighter Squadrons, which are part of the 48th Fighter Wing. Recently, two of these F-15Es were delivered with the Eagle Passive/Active Warning and Survivability System (EPAWSS), a major upgrade to the electronic warfare capabilities of the F-15E. These upgraded aircraft are assigned to both squadrons, ensuring both benefit from the enhanced capabilities.ii

Been a while, hi!

Hadn't seen them in a long time. They grabbed a little water, a little suet, posed for a photo and were off again.

A quick run to my parents' place this weekend meant there was an opportunity for a short photo break, and that was exactly what I did, this time with more bokeh added, and with lenses, I haven't used in quite some time, or never before, even.

Taken with Panasonic GX7 digital mirrorless camera and adapted Admiral MC 135mm F2.8 manual telephoto lens on no-name K-m43 adapter. Wide-open aperture, at minimal focusing distance to have as much bokeh as possible. Not bad!

This is the other bird shot that I quite liked. Its a simple shot in that I just like the bird's pose. I also like the flare of feathers on the bird's head. Just gives a sassy kind of "over the shoulder" pose that I find amusing. All said and done, I just like the photo.

There are over 500 different tree species within Wulingyuan National Park.

The quartzite sandstones pillars in the park reach as high as over 2,625 feet (800 meters) tall!

There are 560 other scenic sites to visit within Wulingyuan National Park besides the sandstone pillars, such as the Golden Whip Stream.

This was the first national forest park in China.
