Pensée du jour : L'âme heureuse, par l'irradiation de l'amour, propage le bonheur autour d'elle. ... Rien d'autre ne rend quelqu'un plus heureux que l'amour...
I like to make quiche and... I never use a recipe... ;-)

abit of an experiment . normal shortcrust pastry . quiche made from stir fried veges with herbs and spices , pureed with coconut milk, chia seeds, flaxseed and feta cheese ( can use tofu as alternative) baked with extra feta cheese, smoked paprika and mixed herbs
Threw this together for brunch today, didn't use a recipe, just used what was in the cupboard and fridge, it turned out pretty good.
Quiche can be cooked in many varied styles, because any filling can be put inside. Unlike other pastries, quiche does not have a top to cover it.
This one was a Cheese Corn Quiche and made a bit spicier for Indian palette made by Aradhna
This is not in the prix-fixe menu, either.
When will be the first one in the menu served?

On July 22nd the “We’re Here!” gang celebrated the Real Pi Day at The Real Pie group. I celebrated with a spinach quiche pie I made the night before, but my photo is late because the Real Pi Day was also the day I worked from 5:00 am until 9:30 pm on a crunch assignment. Then the next day, Thursday, was internet disaster day in my neighborhood, and I did not get back on line until this evening (Friday). It’s great to be back in touch with the world.
This Guatamalan Marlboro man was standing here patiently waiting for the parade to begin. Note the machete and the traditional Mayan man-bag.
I added some more salad things to the plate after I'd taken the photo 😀
