I kept an eye on the eggs, and finally, found one of the cats! This is the only one i've been able to find, so I'm wondering if something ate the others.
He's been happily eating away on the tender new elm leaves.

This is the fall/spring Question Mark butterfly, a member of the Commas. Note the white question mark on the hindwing of this ventral view. The sunlight is coaxing through the brilliant orange color of the dorsal side.
Zu deutsch: Ritter der Tafelrunde. Die Tafel ist reichlich gefuellt mit Sounds von Acoustic bis Electro. Die Ritter: DJ Questionmark und DJ Atomic, die zu zweit die Welt umrunden. Ihr Terminkalender ist so voll, wie die Clubs in denen sie auflegen. Umso mehr freut es uns die DJs und Produzenten, welche schon mit Groessen wie den Beastie Boys oder Soulwax die Buehne teilten, bei uns am See begrüssen zu duerfen.

I looked for aaages :( It's gotta be somewhere so I'm gonna go look again tomorrow. I'm hoping some sort of break might help my finding ability. Apart from a replacement costing twenty quid it's also mega annoying for filming too :(

Impossible to get a shot of the Question Mark butterfly at rest with its wings spread open. It could not decide where to stop for awhile. Did manage the ventral view that displays the identifying question mark.

Small three colour lino reduction print with horned owl and text.
I rarely make reduction prints, and never work in oil-based inks, like we did in this class. Also, this was printed on an actual press, rather than with my poor arm and a Japanese bare

The letter you see here is part of a flower-alphabet that was created by about 40 people under the direction of alphabetician Chank Diesel at the fontmaking workshop.
