These 4 images are the last of the kaleidoscopes that I made from photographs of the Watertown, Wisconsin public library. After a visit to the library in late 2022, I returned to the library with camera in hand on October 6, 2022. The architecture of the library had an abundance of lines, designs, and structures that invited transformations into "Quadrant Keleidoscopes." The result was over 400 kaleidoscopes. I started posting these 4-way reflections March 14 of 2023. Thank you for your patience in wading through them, for your viewing and for your comments. I will end 2023 with these 4 images. In 2024 I plan to post more quadrant kaleidoscopes on a variety of subjects, a few with newly discovered techniques from GIMP software, the Software I have been always been using. I heve described my technique in the "About" section of my Flickr. Best wishes for your 2024.
Confession: I love walking through houses that aren't finished yet. I almost always check the doors of the houses being built around me to see if the workers accidentally left one open so I can sneak in and check it out.
Usually I just go walk through and try to imagine buying a house and how exactly I want it - so much the 12 year old dreamer in me.

Es gibt so Dinge, die finde ich einfach Klasse. Dieses Messer von Gerber zum Beispiel begeistert mich in allen Belangen. Angefangen natürlich bei der Optik! Das kleine, einfache Messer mit dem Bambus-Holz am Griff ist einfach wunderschön. Es erinnert ein wenig an ein klassisches Rasiermesser, ist aber der perfekte Helfer in allen täglichen Aufgaben wie zum Beispiel einen Apfel zu schälen, ein Paket zu öffnen oder was auch immer sonst noch anfällt.
