Een goede 20 minuten na de trein van TX Logistik kon op deze stek nog een goederentrein worden vastgelegd. DB Cargo 193 353 en 193 350 waren op 27 april 2022 bij Mezzocorona onderweg vanuit Verona Quadrante Europa naar München met trein 40558.

Nachdem wir in Sottrum einige Züge aufgenommen hatten, ging es noch mal nach Holtorf. Daran, dass auf dem Fußweg zur Stelle mehr Güterzüge kamen als in den 3h danach hat man sich mittlerweile gewöhnt, dennoch kann dieser Nachmittag als erfolgreich bezeichnet werden. Nachdem 4 private Züge südwärts durchgerauscht waren erwartete uns erstmal eine gesperrte Strecke (warum eigentlich nicht 30min früher?). Diese war zum Glücknach weiteren 30min schon wieder aufgehoben, sodass wenigstens beim sönntäglichen PE/TT-KLV alles wie geplant klappte.

Nog geen 5 minuten later kwam er opnieuw een goederentrein door de boog van Harrbach gereden. Het betrof dit keer de 1293 060 van de ÖBB, welke slechts enkele maanden daarvoor werd afgeleverd door Siemens. De lading bestaat uit voornamelijk Northegger en Fröhlich trailers, welke onderweg zijn vanuit Kassel naar Verona Quadrante Europa.
It didn’t take long for the next freight train to pass by. Just 5 minutes later, ÖBB’s 1293 060 was captured with a train full of Northegger and Fröhlich trailers. The train originates from Kassel, and is on its way to Verona.

This photo I took last Spring, which is my favourite time of year, since we are all at the moment at the most boring part of Winter, wishing for the sunnier weather, I am too getting impatient, but one cannot with their life away. This flower I took as I was soi struck at the species, the perfect 4x4 of floral design.

Om een beetje af te koelen van dit zeer warme en benauwde weer neem ik jullie weer even mee naar een paar maanden geleden bij temperaturen van rond het vriespunt. In de eerste week van maart was ik zoals velen van jullie waarschijnlijk al weten in Tirol en de nabije omgeving. Op de eerste dag werd de Brennerbahn tussen Innsbruck en Brennero bezocht bij onder andere Sankt Jodok en Mühlbachl. Rond het middaguur viel het verkeer voor een tweetal uren stil doordat bij Mühlbachl onaangekondigd aan de bovenleiding werd gewerkt. Ongeveer een halfuur voordat wij daar arriveerden was het gedaan met de werken en misten we onderweg al twee treinen van TXL waarvan eentje getrokken door twee fraaie AlphaTrains 193's. Gelukkig was het blik nog niet leeg, want juist toen we arriveerden kwamen er kort achter elkaar drie fraaie treinen van Lokomotion waarvan de eerste reeds online staat.
Iets minder dan 10 minuten na de passage van de eerste Lokomotion trein die we hier konden vastleggen, was er opnieuw ruis hoorbaar vanachter de bomen. In eerste instantie leek het vals alarm want na enkele seconden was het geluid weer verdwenen, maar enkele ogenblikken later was het nu heel duidelijk hoorbaar. Het was nog geen tijd voor een personentrein of de RoLa naar Brennero en dus moest dit opnieuw een goederentrein zijn. De vreugde was groot toen er opnieuw twee witte locomotieven met zebrastrepen door de S-bocht kwamen glijden. Al snel zagen we dat de tweede loc de "150 Jahre Brennerbahn" Vectron was die van ons wel even voorop mocht hangen. Gelukkig voor ons konden we twee dagen later alsnog deze loc goed fotograferen.
Het is 15:20 als het koppeltje Lokomotion 193 770 en Lokomotion 193 773 "150 Jahre Brennerbahn" de Nederlanders begroet te Mühlbachl met Ambrogio-Shuttle 43869 vanuit München Ost naar Verona Quadrante Europa. De trein is eerder met BLS Cargo vanuit Neuss naar München Ost gereden alwaar de twee zebra's het stokje hebben overgenomen voor de rit door de Oostenrijkse en Italiaanse Alpen!

Am Abend des 23. Juli 2020 bin ich für die letzten Sonnenminuten, bevor das Licht im Schlonz versinken sollte, noch für ein paar Nordfahrer von Karlstadt nach Thüngersheim gewechselt. Dort konnte ich dann unteranderem den Winner-KLV von Verona Q.E. nach Wuppertal-Langerfeld fotografieren. Dieser war an diesem Tag mit dem Vectron 193 777 von Lokomotion bespannt. Die beige Zebra-Lok fehlt mir noch in der Sammlung. Das interessante an dieser E-Lok ist, dass die seitlichen Zebra-Streifen und einige andere Anschriften wie z.B. die Loknummern auf beiden Lokseiten unterschiedliche Farben haben. Auf der sichtbaren Seite mehrheitlich in blau und auf der lichtabgewandten Seite in rot. Vor Ort stellte sich dann die Frage welche der beiden Lokseiten wohl besser zu den rot-blauen Wechselpritschen und LKW-Aufliegern des Winner-KLV gepasst hätte...

Durch die Eiswüste von Südtirol - ok sie dient eigentlich der Schadensbegrenzung: Bei Albeins wurden zu Beginn des Aprils 2021 ganze Anbauflächen eingeeist, um die Blüten vor dem Kältetod zu retten. Zugloks vom Kombizug nach Verona an diesem Tag waren die 193.312 und die 193.705.

DGS 40563 Padborg - Verona Quadrante Europa
Am letzten Tag meines durchaus erfolgreichen Kurzurlaubes im Maintal habe ich mich am 23. Juli 2020 mal kurz für ein paar Güterzüge auf die Straßenbrücke beim Bahnhof in Karlstadt gestellt. Eigentlich wollte ich noch ein Stückchen weiter südlich nach Himmelstadt. Dort hatten die Landwirte am Vortag das Kornfeld abgemäht, so dass die Standardfotostelle wieder ohne weiteres machbar gewesen wäre. Der Abwechslung halber wollte ich von dort auch noch ein paar Bildchen mit nach Hause nehmen. Aber auf dem Weg dahin ist mir dann, bei der Vorbeifahrt an dem im Bild zusehenden Silo eingefallen, dass ich diese Fotostelle auch noch mitnehmen könnte. Also bog ich fix von der Bundesstraße nach links ab und stellte mein Auto auf dem Parkplatz unterhalb der Brücke. Kurz Zeit später tauchte dann auch schon ein EGP Vectron mit einem Altmann in meinem Blickfeld auf. Diesen versemmelte ich aber grandios. Etwa eine halbe Stunde später fuhr dann der nächste Güterzug gen Würzburg an mir vorbei. Es war der Feuertaurus von TXL mit dem KLV aus Padborg nach Verona. Ich habe mich sehr über etwas Abwechslung bzgl. der Zuglok gefreut. Mal kein Vectron. Außerdem hatte ich die Lok bisher noch nicht vor einem Güterzug in meiner Bildersammlung. Nur vor dem IC "Königsee" als die Lok für ein paar Wochen an DB Fernverkehr vermietet gewesen ist. Im Blockabstand folgten noch zwei weitere Güterzüge, die ich auch noch mitnahm bevor ich wieder zum Auto lief und meinen eigentlichen Plan durchzog. Es ging ein Stückchen weiter nach Himmelstadt aufs Feld...
The Cathedral of Seville is built on the old aljama mosque of the city, this shows the power that one culture exercises over another when it is conquered. This fact makes its plan different, facing Mecca and not Jerusalem, that is, facing south instead of east. It should be clarified that Mecca is oriented at 10o from Seville and not at 86o as the old mosque is oriented, this is due to the fact that in Al-Andalus the mosques had to be oriented towards the south quadrant and not towards the east, as the Christian churches did. When the Cathedral Chapter commissioned the design of the Gothic Cathedral, it stated verbatim that it wanted a Cathedral that everyone who saw it would take for crazy. For this, 5 naves were created that covered the 116 by 76 meter rectangle occupied by the Almohad mosque, this results, unlike what was usual in the great European Gothic Cathedrals, a hall plan with a Latin cross marked in height and in width by the central naves and the transept. This hall plan also results in the absence of an ambulatory at the head, which ends in a straight line like the wall of the old mosque. Later the Royal Chapel would be added, which is a Renaissance apse, but it does not really correspond to the Gothic company. In the naves of the Gospel and the Epistle, which are the lateral naves, there are many chapels. The 60 pillars support 68 ogive vaults, highlighting those of the transept and central nave with their star shapes. Instead of placing a clerestory, a continuous balcony was chosen along the main nave in order to be able to wander around the temple without being seen. Located in the central nave, in order from the feet, are the Retrochoir, the Choir, with two organs, the Transept, the Main Altar, the Back of Altar and the Royal Chapel.
Sluierbewolking aan de kant, TXL 182 572 "Wir brennen für das was wir tun" komt er aan! Hier waren we al uren op aan het wachten en ein-de-lijk hebben we m goed voor de lens met de altijd fraaie Skandinavienkai - Verona Quadrante KLV. Ook de wagensamenstelling verdient aandacht met de fel oranje Wascosa T5 aan de lok, staalblauwe wascosa T2000 en witte AAE Sdggmrs. Kassa dus! Thüngersheim 23-03-2019.

Als Nachfolger des Fendt 400 Vario kam 2012 die Baureihe 500 Vario auf den Markt, die in vielerlei Hinsicht eine Vierzylinderversion der Baureihe 700 Vario war. Die Außenabmessungen des neuen Modells waren in allen Richtungen größer als beim Vorgänger, es kamen jedoch die gleichen 4-Liter-Deutz-Motoren wie beim Vorgänger zum Einsatz. Neu war allerdings die SCR-Technologie. Das Getriebe des ML 90 Vario entsprach dem des Vorgängers und verfügte über zwei Fahrbereiche.

We’re standing at Yaki Point looking roughly northwest, towards Phantom Canyon as it intersects Bright Angel Canyon. The smoke from the July 2025 Dragon Bravo forest fire is filling the lower places, making the various named formations more evident. In the upper right quadrant is the Buddha Temple (with the smaller Manu Temple hugging the right margin). In the top middle is the long Colonnade. In the foreground is Cedar Ridge decanting the South Kaibab trail down a series of switchbacks.
