A WW2 Quadrant Tower for the Strangford Lough aerial bombing range. The tower was one of a series (2 or 3) used to plot the location of bombs dropped from low level aircraft during target practice flights. The target was located on a barge in Strangford Lough.

I started with an original "Quadrant Kaleidoscope" and further manipulated the image with the GIMP software, using Filters --> Distorts --> Kaleidoscope. I vary the preset settings to achieve a different effect with 4 or more reflections.

After reviewing a lot of photos posted by those who have gone before, this is what I came up with.
There are no plans or details in Van's construction manual on any of this, and takes a lot more time than assembling standard airframe parts.
The silver locking ''T'' knob ahead of the throttle is for the parking brake control, and the black knob below it is for the oil cooler airflow control.
