Globalfest - an amazing event put on in Calgary, AB. August 21, 2009 was opening night and Canada was presenting their fireworks show. I have to say it was one of the best firework shows I have ever seen.

The Pyrotechnics Guild International held a conference at the North Iowa Fairgrounds in 2005. This is from one of their exhibitions that were open to the public. Thirty of these were displayed in a show at the Mason City Public Library in November 2005.
The end of Cowes Week (international yachting event) is always marked with a firework display from Cowes seafront. Tonight's show had a double budget - probably the best I've seen. Sadly my photographs don't do it justice but this was my first proper attempt at capturing them.
