The CRJ-550 is just a CRJ-700 with a reconfigured interior seating 50 (rather than the usual 70) passengers. United created these from existing CRJ-700 stocks to maintain pilot labor division agreements.

During the LOW period of the signal the cpu has time to service other interrupts and run user code.
Scope capture of power module output. I couldn't see any dangerous peaks that were supposedly killing the same chip last in previous experiments.
