We had stopped at a recommended pub in a village while on holiday in the Lake District of England and were delighted to see that the outdoor area was full of families enjoying a Punch and Judy show. Our English friends were caught up in the nostalgia of the traditional performance and we enjoyed both the lunch and the show. Even in our electronically sophisticated world, it hasn't lost its magic.
