The Puppet Lady, Nitsana Lazarus, was back with lots of puppets and fun in her new show, Traveling Puppets!

This Sunday I made the trip to Glover VT to check out the world renown Bread & Puppet experience. It is certainly something to behold if you are from the Vermont area or are planning on traveling to the Northeast Kingdom. Also, located on their grounds is a incredibly curated museum and tons of awesome cheap art.

It was a Summer Reading Extravaganza by Puppet Pizzazz! The kids saw some amazing puppets in action!

Taken during the Big Grin - a celebration marking the 'birthday' of Mr Punch. The date has been chosen because Samuel Pepys made an entry in his diary for 9 May 1662, noting the marionette performance of "Signor Bologna" in Covent Garden.

The Big Grin featured a parade of Professors around the piazza, a mass photocall, and then individual performances.

Hand stitched felt puppets for a children's sewing workshop I am hosting on 5th March 2011.
