I took this at the famous Bates Nut Farm Pumpkin Patch. At the farm you can experience the fall harvest with the colors, scents, tastes and sounds found on their 100 acres. You can also shop for pumpkins, squash and gourds in a variety of shapes, colors and sizes. Bates Nut Farm also has numerous activities including hay rides, straw maze, pony rides and farm zoo.
Made for my mom, all three pumpkins had their cores created individually, then felted together as one piece before having the color added. :)
Made using the Decadent Fibers kit, purchased at Rhinebeck 2007.
Also, there are not as many glaring white spaces as the flash would have you believe. ;)
Today I took my little cousin Olivia to the pumpkin patch. She had a great time running around the field!

Finally put the garden to bed today, and the pumpkins have taken their customary spot. In the spring, all that will be left is dry husks of skin and the stems.
Took the kids to Miller's Gardens for a hay ride to the pumpkin patch and then to Leeds Farm for the carnival that is..
When I saw Blazingstar's pic it reminded me I had taken this one a couple of weeks ago. I think I kept him another week or so before tossing him in the compost.
Paige requested the Snow White design to be cut out for her pumpkin and Morgan requested the Tinkerbell design for her pumpkin.
