Abused & Abandoned Jungle Dogs.

So here we are down town where their

food and my prescriptions are purchased.

This is the morning market which is still

a ghost town in my humble opinion.

Smells and sounds like any other

Asian morning market here.

Plans are now being made for another

run to The Temple in the next few days.

Transportation is the key factor in doing

the run. Bike is to dangerous right now.

You will be kept informed as we go along.

Most all the supplies have been gathered.

See the 2 water bottles in the front basket ?

One is drinking water the other is a special

blend I made up for sanitizing my hands.

In the sidecar is 2 large water bottles

especially for the dogs to drink ;-)

OK, it's Sunday night right now and tomorrow

morning I'm heading on over to the small bike

shop in the small town next to our small village.

For a few months now I've had No Brakes

on the backend of the scooter/sidecar ;-0

And yes that has been a challenge but

everything around here is a challenge !

Sense the front brakes has been our

only stopping power they will be

checked out too. There's an

old Thai saying here ---

"Cheaper to buy a horn then new brakes"

Well now it's time for some new brakes ;-)

DESCRIPTION

Fresh ginger perks up a pumpkin pie, and a streusel layer adds crunch under a toasted marshmallow topping.

INGREDIENTS

Crust

1 Pillsbury® refrigerated pie crust (from 15-oz box), softened as directed on box

Streusel

1/2 cup crushed gingersnap cookies (9 cookies)

1/4 cup chopped pecans

2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened

Filling

1 can (15 oz) pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)

1 cup evaporated milk

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

2 teaspoons grated fresh gingerroot

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 eggs, slightly beaten

Topping

2 to 2 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows

DIRECTIONS

1. Heat oven to 425°F. Place cookie sheet on middle oven rack. Unroll pie crust in 9-inch glass pie plate as directed on box for One-Crust Filled Pie. In small bowl, mix streusel ingredients. Sprinkle streusel in crust-lined pie plate.

2. In large bowl, mix filling ingredients. Pour into pie crust on top of streusel. Place pie plate on cookie sheet in oven. Bake 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F. Bake 35 to 45 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely on cooling rack, about 3 hours.

3. Just before serving, set oven control to broil. Spread marshmallows evenly over top of pie, completely covering filling. Broil pie with top about 5 inches from heat about 30 seconds, watching carefully, until marshmallows are lightly browned. Marshmallows will brown quickly. Cover and refrigerate any remaining pie.

High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Do not use cookie sheet. In step 2, for second bake time, cover edge of crust with strips of foil to prevent excess browning, and bake 35 to 40 minutes. Remove foil before step 3.

OK, here's the deal ---

Sometime around 8:AM we made it over to

the mud cobra field. Why so late you ask ?

Because yesterdays run to the monkey

temple really burned both of us out.

And the rains had diminished ;-)

In this photo the bike is facing back

down the trail/road we come in on.

And yes we left the bike and walked

into the mud cobra field for safety

reasons. Mr Murphy had set

a nasty trap for us as the

field was a real soggy

mud sucking swamp.

Ha Ha on Mr Murphy ;-)

When arriving I swung the scooter around

facing back down the easy part of the trip.

Old habit, in case a fast escape is needed.

The orange and green fence pickets

and green block wall surrounds the

now abandoned birdhouse you've

all seen in past photos. It's also

the last of any kind of half-

ass road/trail usable

most of the time.

This spot is where I also turn into the field.

And for now it's also the spot where I don't

turn into the field ! Reason the dogs are on

their way back is quite simple. We had just

walked all the way from the semi-shelter an

of course they were way out front. So when

they arrived at the scooter/sidecar they kept

right on going instead of waiting for me. Not

a problem, when I arrived at the scooter I just

slid into the saddle and let out a sharp whistle

& they came back at their own pace of course.

Soon all three dogs were loaded into the

sidecar and we are on our way back to

basecamp. I was to tired to wash the

dogs or scooter/sidecar. No# 1 was

waiting with their breakfast. Now

as mr heiney likes to say -----

"a tired dog is a good dog."

So this tired old dog is ready for a nap too.

Abused And Abandoned Jungle Dogs.

- So here's the deal as I remember it -

Loaded Pumpkin & Boney into the sidecar

and just as we were leaving no# 1 asks

"where are you going monkey man?"

Of course I knew where we were going

and I told her to the mud/cobra field.

She stood there with a snake stick

in one hand and the other on

her hip. One eye was half

closed the other was

all the way shut.

Her lips where getting all scrunched up

which told me I'm about to be given

strict instruction cuz for some

unknown reason she

doesn't believe

my reply ?

And it's true that's where we are headed ;-)

Now while the dogs were zipping around

in the field I remembered I was going to

stop in town and see Miss Fuji so I could

take some photos of her dads cameras.

And as it actually happens that's what we

did. After leaving the field I stopped and

pulled all the grass off the scooter plus

knocked a bunch of mud off the wheels.

We drove right through the village and

continued on into the small town where

Miss Fuji has her store. Miss Fuji was all

smiles when I told her the story as to why

I would like to take some more photos of

her dads cameras.( seen in the insert photo)

I'm on another photo web site where one

photo was posted a week ago showing her

dads Rolleiflex and people went nuts and

wanted more photos and info about them.

So it was my job to accomplish that 4 them.

When I pulled into our place no# 1 was still

standing in the same place with the snake

stick in one hand and the other on her hip.

This my friends isn't looking good for me !

Released the dogs, dismounted the scooter

with a big smile on my face and walked right

up to no# 1 ready to plant a big kiss on her

forehead.As I started to lean in I felt a stick

pushing against my chest. This is going

down-hill real fast. "Hi honey that was big fun."

"Did the scooter get stuck ?" "No we were real

careful not to get stuck." "Did one of the dogs

run off ?" No honey they were well behaved."

"Did the scooter stop running?" "No it was fine."

I envisioned myself sitting in a hard chair in a

dark room with a bright light shining in my face.

"Why did it take you just over an hour to go to

the field that's only on the other side of the river?"

"Well I remembered I had to stop at Jum's place and

take some photos of her dads cameras, no problem."

I felt the snake stick gently tap my leg as my head

was bowed and my lower lip slightly protruded out.

My left hand was rubbing Pumpkins ears while my

right foot was making small circles in the dirt ;-0--

"And I told Miss Fuji we would stop by tomorrow

just to say hi and hob nob just for a little bit."

"Tomorrow you are not going anywhere to say hi

to anybody. Doctors said you are to stay home

and that is exactly what you are going to do !"

"You are grounded forever, maybe longer !"

This my friends does not look good, not good at all.

"And if you try to sneak out you will be sleeping on

the porch with the dogs !" "Ya But" "No ya buts !"

So here I sit all by myself broken hearted, grounded

maybe forever or longer, my life is over as it once was.

But the cool part is Boney is on my left side.

Pumpkin Pie is laying to my right with one

eye open watching my every move ;-)---

And more importantly I was on a mission

and completed it by getting the photos ;-)

Looks like I maybe on hold for a short time

but that's no big deal, been there done that.

Abused And Abandoned Jungle Dogs.

Soaked to the bone and now we want to go home !

Mid-morning I was allowed out of the house and

given permission to take the dogs to the field.

But there was conditions - I had to call

home every 10 minutes and I was

only allowed to be gone for

30 minutes no longer.

My reply, "No Can Do !" My hands will be busy

so we compromised with no# 1 calling me

every 10 minutes. If I don't answer by

the tenth ring then send out a

search party, no big deal.

That worked and we weren't gone the full

30 minutes. Pouring monsoon rains !

There was only 3 photos taken

and this is one of them ;-)---

Upon arriving back home the dogs were fed

breakfast and so was I. Only un-like them

I had to make my own breakfast ;-)---

INGREDIENTS

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 can (15 oz) pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)

1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk (1 1/2 cups)

DIRECTIONS

1. Heat oven to 425°F. Place pie crust in 9-inch glass pie pan as directed on box for One-Crust Filled Pie.

2. In large bowl, beat eggs with wire whisk. Stir in remaining ingredients until well blended. Pour into crust-lined pan.

3. Bake 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F; bake 40 to 50 minutes longer or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool completely, about 2 hours. Store in refrigerator.

Each contestant will attempt to finish the piece of pumpkin pie in front of them the quickest, and they are not allowed to use their hands. The pies were very large, and each piece is a quarter of a pie. Yum! Though I doubt if anyone stopped to savor the flavor. Several firefighters took part, and one was the winner.

I had already decided the bike/sidecar

wasn't going into the mud cobra field !

And when we arrived, that decision

was obviously the proper one to make.

Where I'm standing the Marvel Super Power Boots

had already sunk into the mud/quagmire 2 or 3 inches.

The air is thick and warm, meaning more rain is coming.

In-fact large monsoon storms are expected over the next

few days. So here's the deal... If we can make it down the

250 meter mud/dirt/trail/road to this same spot as shown

here we can do another walkabout. The only change is I'll

be carrying an umbrella and a large plastic garbage bag to

use as a poncho. Today the dogs lost their minds, big fun ;-)

Abused And Abandoned Jungle Dogs.

The sidecar has been repaired and reattached

to the scooter. Mid-morning we take off for

the mud/cobra field. The grass is now

so tall I had problems making any

forward motion. About 200

meters into the field

I stop and can't

find Boney !

Pumpkin had caught up but she too was hard

to see, if at all. Did a 180 degree circle and

started back only to be stuck in the grass.

Got off and started working it back an forth.

Finally while running alongside purchase

was made and we kept right on going.

Spotted Boney as he was jumping like a

young kangaroo so only his ears were

visible when he was high in the air.

As for this photo I stopped and proceeded

to remove lots of grass hanging all over

the scooter/sidecar while both dogs

climbed into the sidecar & waited.

Pulled forward about 30 feet

to a spot void of grass and

took this photo ;-)---

From here we are on the way into town

to do a resupply of kibble and supplies.

Had a half-dozen stops to make and

the last stop is to see Jum, Miss Fuji.

As you can see in the next photo.

Abused & Abandoned Jungle Dogs.

Of course when you make

plans, plan to change them.

Yesterday there was about one hour

when the downpour halted and

during that time we raced

over to the mud field.

Notice how much the grass has grown

in one short week of monsoon rains.

Alright getting back to the plan.

Today is Sunday and try as I might

my body said no way are you

going to the temple !

Mind said yes, body said no, period !

It's still pouring monsoon rains as

it has been doing for many days.

So, the new plan is for a run to the temple

tomorrow to care for all the temple animals.

Might not leave before 5:AM but that's OK.

I'll get there when I get there. Safety first ;-)

One of my girls was saying that when I came to visit her, she hoped I would bring my rubbers. I was sort of embarrassed, because I had no idea what she was talking about, and I just couldn't bring myself to ask her. I thought, and I hate to mention it, that she might be referring to something indelicate, and I had never put her in that category. I never think of women in that category. I'm not even sure what that category is.

Then recently up at the Winston-Salem Antique Show, I found this advertising card, and i knew that that must be what she was talking about. I don't have a pair, but I'm going to look in to buying one, or several. They really ought to have been hot sellers, so I'd guess they're still in business.

I hope I don't have to tell you that, for the time, this was a rather risque photograph, without the condom connection. She really doesn't need that little bit of slip that's showing. That's there for titillation value, and if I know my ladies, they were very well-titillated.

Time for after Christmas Pumpkin Pie oh and look a slice of pumpkin pie too ;D

This is our last Witchy Wednesday of 2018 that went so fast!!!! See you in 2019!!!

By 6:AM we had arrived at the mud cobra field.

Getting down the first dirt/path/trail/road was

a bit sketchy but still doable, no real big deal.

When we hung a hard left turn into the

m/c field a little more caution was used.

Knowing Mr Murphy was lurking about

my eyes were working in overdrive ;-0-

The tethered dogs were released and

off they went at break-neck speed ;-)

When I came off the high ground with

the scooter/sidecar I was committed

to keep right on going in an easterly

direction. Murphy traps had been set

up everywhere. The wick was twisted

and my old dirt-bike skills were used.

Another e-ticket ride all the way to the

resting platform, which was my goal.

Once there I started planning on just

how was I going to get out of here ?

Only one thought came to mind ---

By using brute-force and awkwardness.

Also means flying by the seat of my pants.

(which is exactly what I did)

Dogs raced around, here, there and everywhere.

They had the time of their lives for just over an hour.

Now this is where a decision had to be made.

Was I going to attempt an exit with a load of

livestock in the sidecar adding extra weight

for a most difficult climb through Murphy

traps attempting to get back on high-

ground ? Or was this a solo run ?

Getting stuck with a load of dogs is a real pain.

So the decision was made to go for a solo run.

When I hit the worst Murphy trap I had just

shifted into 2nd gear leaving a rooster tail.

That would have been a real cool video.

OK enough about me. Yesterday no# 1

was taken out to see the nuns along

with other family members. They

were so excited to see them.

Mr Kind Monk is still in ICU with

an oxygen mask 24/7. That's

all the news I have now.

One more item to note ---

All three dogs had some mud from their

paws to their underbelly. No stinky stuff.

So, upon arrival at home base they

were only given a quick rinse off.

Arrived at the mud cobra field at 6:57AM.

Why so late you ask ? Cuz it's Sunday

and nobody starts early on Sunday.

Plus is was kinda chilly out ;-0---

We were told by the weatherman that a nasty

monsoon storm was coming our way Saturday.

We did have high winds but no rain and the river

has gone down quite a bit. So getting back to the

mc/field. The path/trail/road getting in is still heavily

rutted and muddy but, the ruts aren't as full of water.

Now remember when we come flying down the mud path

and have to do a 90 degree left turn at breakneck speed ?

And then do hand to hand combat with the one palm oil tree

with the low hanging branches right next to the raging river.

Well, that didn't happen this morning and this is why.

In my possession is a 3 pound viking like metal club

with one side filed real sharp. We stopped at said tree

and I proceeded to hack down nine limbs that had been

causing us great harm while getting in an out of the field.

And furthermore remember I just mentioned a heavy wind.

Well IMHO, said wind has started drying up the m/c field.

Don't be fooled for 1 minute cuz things might be getting

dryer but right underneath the crust is nasty traps left

by Mr Murphy himself. How do I know this you ask ?

Simple, I got off the scooter and walked on the

fake crust and immediately sunk 6 or 7 inches.

The bike would have sunk much deeper ! ;-0

OK, now lets discuss this photo of Pumpkin Pie

sitting in the squishy quagmire and gooey mud.

She's waiting for Mr Boney Baloney and The Monkey

plus she has a big secret she doesn't want to share.

The scooter was fired up and I proceeded to hang

a left turn while heading uphill as the back tire dug

in trying to gain purchase in the slippery quagmire.

Pumpkin started to follow, soon The Monkey

jumps into the sidecar then Pumpkin follows.

Holy Moley, what in the hell is that rotten smell !

Pumpkin Pie just smiles then avoids eye contact.

Mr Boney Baloney climbs in an off we go.

Once we arrive back at base camp I call-

out to no# 1 that I need help washing

all three dogs especially Pumpkin !

Usually they are washed while still tethered

in the sidecar but not this time. Each one is

taken out of the sidecar and given a real

soapy wash job, then did it a 2nd time.

Pumpkin was the worst of the three.

The the sidecar had to be washed

real good to kill the dead rancid

smell. No# 1 said Pumpkin had

rolled in a putrid dead animal.

Like my ears my nose barley works

but this time it seemed to be really

working overtime. Means it's Bad !

Alright, enough about the smelly stuff.

IMHO, looks like today is going to be

a mild one as far as the weather goes.

Which means, we may have an easy

ride to immigrations' in the morning.

It's a real long ride, but maybe dry.

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! So far it's been partially cloudy but quite warm here today.

On the 10th of October 2010 (Canadian Thanksgiving Sunday), I was/am busy preparing the traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings for my family..

Hope your Sunday is going well and thanks for visiting.

INGREDIENTS:

Crust:

1 cup Bisquick® Gluten Free mix

5 tablespoons cold butter

3 tablespoons water

Filling:

4 oz cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons sugar

1/4 teaspoon vanilla

1 egg yolk

1/2 cup sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Dash salt

1 cup canned (from 15-oz can) or smoothly mashed cooked pumpkin

1/2 cup evaporated milk

1 egg, slightly beaten

Whipped cream, if desired

DIRECTIONS:

1. Heat oven to 425°F. Grease 9-inch glass pie plate with shortening or cooking spray. In medium bowl, place Bisquick mix. Cut in butter with pastry blender or fork (or pulling 2 table knives through mixture in opposite directions), until mixture looks like fine crumbs. Stir in water; shape into ball with hands. Press dough in bottom and up side of pie plate.

2. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned; remove from oven. Cool while preparing cream cheese and pumpkin fillings. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F.

3. In small bowl, beat cream cheese, 2 tablespoons sugar and the vanilla with electric mixer on low speed until well blended. Add egg yolk; beat well. Spread cream cheese mixture in bottom of partially baked pie crust.

4. In large bowl, mix 1/2 cup sugar, the cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, salt, pumpkin, evaporated milk and egg. Carefully pour pumpkin mixture over cream cheese mixture. Bake at 350°F. 15 minutes. Cover crust edge with strips of foil to prevent excessive browning; bake 30 to 40 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely; about 1 1/2 hours. Refrigerate about 2 hours or until serving time. Garnish each serving with dollop of whipped cream. Cover and refrigerate any remaining pie.

I believe mr heiney might have coined this phrase.

There is a possibility, a similar phrase can be found

in the well read book - "The Dummies Guide 2 Dogs."

Either way it rings true for many dog owners.

Oooops I might just have to re-phrase that.

The bell still rings true for many of us that

are in reality completely owned by our dogs.

Alright to answer your question about the green bowl.

But first lets discuss the reason there was two runs

out 2 the m/c field, ok ? OK then here we go. ---

Oh, one more thing ---

When I'm on a mission from dog, I can be a real

stubborn mule ! Even if you have bones sticking

out through your thin skin, or an artery gushing

like a geyser, you just have 2 get over yourself.

The mission takes precedence over everything.

If you're in great pain slap a band aid on it cuz

it will feel much better when it stops hurting ;-)

No# 1 wife can verify that last paragraph.

So the green bowl ---

Knowing the second run to the m/c field will

be with The Zoomer, The Monkey and Mama

I figured the extra green bowl would be used

for chopped hot-dogs. This is to tease Mama &

Zoomer to stay in close where extra treats are at.

Reason it's here with Pumpkin, Mr Boney

and The Monkey is for trail reasons only.

In the next couple of days photos of Mama,

The Zoomer and The Monkey will be posted.

One run to the mud cobra field beats me up !

So getting back to the stubborn mule I knew

2 runs was really going to make me cranky.

But when we did return from the 2nd run

Little Mimi had to have a short ride just

around the parking lot was enough

for her. She was super excited ;-)

After all the chores were done no# 1 told

me to take a shower and go right to bed.

The cranky old mule obeyed his wife ;-)

Abused & Abandoned Jungle Dogs.

So here's the story of The Princess & The Prince.

We piled into the scooter/sidecar and took off

for the mud/cobra field. All went well until

these two decided it was time for their

man-servant to take them to town

in-order to pick up supplies.

That included meat for

their royal meals an

my prescriptions.

Next photo is taken downtown doing as ordered.

Sweet, light, and fluffy pumpkin pie with a flaky, buttery crust. Topped with whipped cream made with pumpkin spice extract and sprinkled with orange mallow bits.

Pumpkin puree, spices (ground cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, and cloves), and marshmallows were whisked together and cooked in a pot over the stove top until the marshmallows were completely melted. The mixture was then set aside to cool before it was combined with store-bought whipped topping and poured into a blind-baked homemade pie shell then refrigerated overnight.

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose... pumpkin pies soon!

By 5:AM I'm up wandering around in a semi-fog.

Turn on the coffee pot then start the computer.

A few minutes later I feel a disruption in the

universe. Glance over my left shoulder

& low an behold there's a Pumpkin.

I try my best to avoid eye contact with her but

for some unknown reason she figures turning

my head for a split second counts as contact.

And now it all starts ;-0-

Pumpkin Bumpkin starts right in with her baritone voice

talking away. Plus her big bushy tail starts whacking the

tile floor in 4/4 time. So I tell her she makes me feel real

uncomfortable with all the talking and her shenanigan's.

Now that was a big mistake cuz Pumpkin escalates

her talking and falls over on her side stretching out

her front paws as if to touch me. I plead with her to

stop but she just rolls over on her back an starts in

wiggling about while using her front paws 2 peddle

a bicycle upside down. Now The Monkey shows up

and starts in circling The Pumpkin while poking her

in her big soft belly. This my friends has turned into

absolute chaos. At this point Pumpkin is up and in

motion ! The Monkey and The Pumpkin are racing

around our tiny home playing grab-ass causing a

great commotion while disrupting my tranquility.

So what did I do you ask ?

Opened the door and let them outside to play.

Easy-Peasy ;-)-

Got out my small pill box and started the daily routine.

Some are vitamins and some are prescriptions that

are meant to extend my life span a little further.

Poured a cup of coffee and started answering

some e-mails sent from around the world.

The sky has just started to show a very

small sliver of pink on the horizon.

I'm waiting for 6:42AM before I make my move.

And at that time all hell breaks loose cuz I've

touched my long pants and work shirt.

This tells the dogs we are for-sure

going to the m/c field.

And eventually that time did arrive.

There's three crazed K9's spinning circles, doing

backflips, yodeling, jumping an leaping about !

First The Monkey flies into the sidecar then just

as fast jumps back out in order to chase after

The Pumpkin and poke her in the butt.

Then he's back in the sidecar where

he has his collar and leash

put on. Then Boney

jumps in and is

also tethered.

Now Ms Pumpkin has a way different schedule.

She has to run an bark alongside the scooter

for about 20 meters then she takes one

big leap into the sidecar, is tethered

and off we go. And no this silly

routine can not be altered.

Why you ask ?

Well, because this is just how they like to do it ;-)-

Soon we are over in the M/C field and another

routine is followed. First Boney is released

then The Monkey and then The Pumpkin.

They start right in peeing on every twig an leaf

within 2 meters of the scooter-sidecar. First

gear is engaged and off they go at Mach 1.

Now I'm putting along at a snails pace

as these three mutts will fly around

then return to make sure I'm

sill on course with them.

About 31-33 minutes later their tongues

are dark purple and hanging down low.

That's the indicator I watch for. This's

when their 1/2 time break starts.

Sometimes Mr Boney calls it quits and

wants to just ride along and other

times like this morning he was

the last one to load up.

Another 23-27 minutes go by before

we stop and load everyone into

the sidecar for the ride back

home where breakfast

is waiting for them.

And now it's just after 10:AM.

Dogs are all sleeping and

I am ready to eat too.

Nap comes later ;-)

Abused, Abandoned Jungle Dogs.

Yesterdays routine went like this ---

Take Pipsqueak for early morning walk.

Load Pumpkin and Boney into sidecar

and head for the cobra/mud field.

Bring them back, feed them

then load Larry in sidecar

and return to the same

area so he can run

at the birdhouse

walled in yard.

OK now for a walk through about this photo.

Notice how the long grass is mowed down.

A tractor comes in here twice a year and

spends a week each time mowing in

order to protect the oil producing

palms from the raging fires that

also come through here at

breakneck speeds.

Also the ground is very rough making

for a real bumpy ride. Both hands

must remain on the handlebars

at all times. And you must go

extremely slow and avoid

the many hidden rocks.

Abused & Abandoned Jungle Dogs.

A big case of guilt was eating at me.

Boney Baloney & Pumpkin Pie

subliminally were casting

a spell all over me.

We hadn't been to the field for a few days.

It was obvious in their eyes so this morning

off we went. Soon their leashes were released

and they took off at Mach 1 speed. Two minutes

latter they came past me at Mach 2 and vanished.

Three minutes later they were back and sniffing the

ground looking for the perfect spot to pee, found it ;-)

Started the scooter/sidecar and slowly just putted

on down to the far side of the field which is about

250-300 hundred meters.Now this field has more

fields on all sides plus jungle on the edges making

for an area about one klick in any direction you look.

Did a couple of laps and the dogs tongues were long

purple ribbons hanging to the ground. Pulled over in

the shade and both dogs raced down the bank into

the cool river where they sat for about 13-17 minutes.

Seems after their cool dip in the river they were

rejuvenated so we took off again for the far-side.

In total this activity took about 59- 63 minutes .

When we arrived back home the sidecar is

parked in the shade next to a hose bib.

Both dogs are washed with soap

while still tethered in the s/car.

Both dogs are very happy as

they are now waiting for

their fresh breakfast

to be served ;-)-

Photo No# 2 of 2.

Well here we are trying to get out of

the mud cobra field and Mr Murphy

has set a nasty gorilla glue clay

trap for us... Now don't worry

this may be the same same

but this time it's different.

Yes the bike is sunk up an over the

rear axel and yes it is raining but

remember I now have fixed the

cum-along and have an extra

strap or two. So it's just a

matter of getting the

equipment out an

getting 2 work.

Ha Ha on Mr Murphy cuz 23 minutes

later and the bike is un-stuck and

we are loading up an heading

back home where every

bike/sidecar part an

dog part is hosed

down real good.

In due time 2 more tow straps

will be added to the equipment.

They cost $4 USD each and are

3.5 meters long. I have a feeling

in the very near future they will be

real handy to have on board. ;-)-----

To the left and up-front of the bike

is The Monkey and Pumpkin Pie.

They are knee deep in mud ;-(-

Do I want this stuff to end you ask ?

Sure, but will it end, probably not.

We've been coming here for many years

when the palm oil trees were real small.

It's a good place 4 the dogs to play ;-)-

Abused & Abandoned Jungle Dogs.

Pumpkin Pie & Boney Baloney have

just come racing back from the jungle.

Boney has to give Pumpkin the once over.

When Mr Bone is satisfied they both zip up

to the porch and wait for their breakfast ;-)-

So why does Mr Bone have to carefully check

over every inch of Miss Pumpkin you ask ?

I really don't have an answer for you !

As if for some reason she might not be the

original dog he was playing with in the jungle ?

Who knows, but one can never be to careful ;-)

Notice the positioning of both tails.

These dogs have never had a cross

word between them, not ever ever.

Love Birds, Silly Dogs, Funny Dogs,

Rescued Jungle Dogs, Happy Dogs.
