I tried to shoot this one way ... but might go back later and try something different. The pump is painted dark, and unlit, so I wasn't able to get a decent dusk shot. Gonna try to light it up, although I'm wondering what the locals will think.
These are the two pump covers for the water tank pump units. They arrived about two weeks ago, but I only unwrapped them on Tuesday morning - 15 March 2007

The drought is so bad here that we need serious water pumps. This one is in my yard.
I think my pump can be used to open wine bottles now. There's a light mount on the right seat stay but the light mount on my left seat stay was obliterated. Note also the new position of the seat stay.
Pumping oil from the spare tanks to the main tanks worked quite well and it was much cheaper than the smelly diesel in Srbia
I thought, in the UK, this might be appropriate!
One minute, there are tailbacks around garage forecourts.... the next, the same forecourts are deserted ‘cause everyone’s drivin’ around in cars full of fuel! Crazy!!

I wired this pump truck for a good customer, doing a complete rewire of everything on the bed, and much of the cab/chassis interface.
This old treasure is loving cared for by Ralph, Lynn and Chris. The property is part of the James River Park System. It was built long ago to supply water for the fire hydrants in Richmond. It is a beautiful building.
The Pumping Station at the summit of the Kennet & Avon Canal has two beam engines. One by Boulton & Watt from 1812 is the oldest insitu working steam engine. When the canal closed, the pumping station was operated by the Great Western Railway to supply water to steam engines on the adjacent railway. Near Marlborough, UK.
