This is actually not to show that my Pumpers now have chrome bumpers (There'll be a better picture for that >.>) but more to review the seller, Chrome Block City.
I ordered about three days ago (located in poland) and received them today. Fast shipping good. I also discovered him while looking for specific pieces in Chrome, as I found out Chromebricks didn't have all the pieces available. Not only does Chrome Block City have a wider variety but they are cheaper too.
Then, in comparison to TLC's chrome (The Stud and the 2x1 grills) you can't tell a difference, the chrome matches perfectly.
I also received two freebie pieces in my order :) So, for your chrome needs, head on over to Chrome Block City ;)

Buffalo's Hidden treasure are the Holly Steam Pumps at the Col. Ward Pumping Station. Built by the Holly Manufacturing Co., Buffalo N.Y. in 1914. They still exist today in their original configuration complete and intact. The five engines each stand 60 ft. tall and weigh in at 1100 tons apiece and capable of pumping up to 30,000,000 million gallons per day. They were the largest engines ever built by the Holly Company. They operated, pumping Buffalo's water till about 1980.

WSOR train L595, aka HK, is pumping air and preparing to pull north towards Oshkosh. Trailing is the WSOR 4012 which is doing a few test runs. I didn't realize the yard at Horicon had a nice little hump to it.
The land between what used to be the islands of Bogø and Langø is reclaimed seabed, now part of the larger island of Lolland. A system of pumps keeps the area from flooding.
I wore these pumps both yesterday and today, so you get two days in one. With the olive green colour and the serious toe cleavage, these are, for me, The Ultimate Pump. I bought them especially for BlogHer '06, and still love them fervently today. Bandolino's, I think.

I found so much character with this gas pump. The roots and vines had grown all around it -- so much that it was almost hidden from sight. To be honest, I'm not convinced which has more character - the roots or the gas pump?
Unless it was changed, the last sale on this pump was $0.28 cents/gallon (1960's).

When I was younger I was obsessed with Reebok Pumps (still fascinated to this day, actually). I remember that my mom wouldn’t buy me the real pumps, so I’d always have to settle for the generic brand which wasn’t nearly as cool and I probably couldn’t jump as high either. I think my next sneaker purchase will definitely be a pair of Reebok Pumps – can’t wait! Anyhow – this piece comes from a Foster the People song called “Pumped Up Kicks”.
