In honour of Newfoundland's 200th anniversary, Barbara Harpur, owner of Harpur's Knitting Centre in St. John's, designed this sweater that incorporates both Nordic and Celtic traditions.
The overall texture, created by simple knit and purl stitches, forms a traditional zigzag pattern echoed in the easy Fair Isle bands at the hems.

This top-down pullover is worked no sewing, including the zipper installation. Grove features Dream in Color Classy (a squishy worsted merino) in Tokyo Creme. It's accented with handmade leather patches on both shoulders and elbows. The kid-version preceded it, so now you can make it for your man no matter how little or big.
This is one of the items on my 'things I did this summer' list! Ravine Pullover in Galway Highland Heather (worsted) wool. I may have to go back and make another one for myself, it was such a pleasure to knit.
