The fruits of the season and my friend Marjorie, inspired me to try a steamed pudding of persimmons, walnuts and raisins. There will be additions of cinnamon, butter and other ingredients. Wish me well!
When Jenn makes and eats pudding, swear to god, Emma can be at the other end of the house and just know it's out. And she becomes an obscessed cat cruise missile looking for pudding.
Jenn, of course, indulges her.

Young Coconut Pudding Baked in a Shell with Palm Sugar Sauce. This was really good. The pudding had a similar texture to Creme Brulee. The combination of Palm Sugar and Coconut meat went definitely complemented one another
jaffa pudding
cream butter, sugar and zest oranges till fluffy and almost white,
gradually add beaten egs, beating well after each addition.
Gradually and gently incorporate sifted flour, cocoa and baking powder.
Adjust to dropping consistency with milk.
Place into greased pudding basin, or 6 dariole moulds cover with greased greaseproof paper steam 1-1/2 hrs, or 40-50 mins for dariole moulds, serve with orange sauce.
From downtown Fort Bragg, you can walk across the newly-restored Pudding Creek Trestle Bridge and ride a bike or walk for miles along ocean, dunes and stop and play on beaches along the way. Lets to MacKerricher State Park.
Sadly mar-c's was a bit rubbish so she didn't eat much of it. Just as well or we'd have had to roll her back to the station

But look at that pudding. Any tawianese person will know that this stuff is second to NONE.
My parents brought some of this stuff back when they came back from Taiwan a few weeks back.
Katherine and I baked a cake today. It was the first layered cake I\'ve ever baked. We even bought 2 more pie pans to help make all the layers. It has a chocolate mint pudding outside as frosting and a white cake with mint Oreos and mint. It is delicious!
