apparently the oldest pub in Den Haag... sorry i can't remember the name!

Jetzt haben sie den Puber also gefasst. Endlich, könnte man meinen, wenn man der kochenden Volksseele in diversen Onlineforen Glauben schenkt. Sperrt ihn weg, die Sau, kann man lesen. Lasst ihn putzen, den Volksfeind Nummer 1, schallt es aus den Postings und Tweets. Hängt ihn höher, das Schwein, ruft das Goldene Wienerherz. Und mir kommen dabei Bilder in den Sinn, als vor ca. 75 Jahren eine johlende Menge um mit Kübel und Besen bewaffnete Juden herumstand, die Straßen putzten. Endlich hatte man einen Sündenbock, endlich konnte man seinen Frust an wem auslassen, endlich hatte man wen, den man so richtig, aber wirklich so richtig runtermachen konnte.

Un écran qui diffuse de la pub en boucle. Il y en a dans tous les coins à Shanghai.

Had a quick walk around the Jolly Colliers pub just before it was due to be demolished. It didn't even get to that as it was torched to the ground by vandals week later.
