Main story
There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.
One, to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.
The other, to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days, staring at the shine
quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. It’s a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow, a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left, I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left, how many times did I depend too much on her, doubt her, envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However, I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me, a guy filled with ambiguous, unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

あらすじ
大学を目指している北見ケイは、SNS上で、6歳年上のイベントコンパニオン、上村香織に出会う。
上京してきた香織の夢は、有名なアーティストの友達になるためだ。
そのためにはラジオ局のプロデューサー、大沢亮の存在が必要だった。
大沢は、ラジオの生放送中、香織へ語りかける。
「僕には妻子がある。しかし、僕は君に会いたいと思っている」
ケイの同級生で、彼を想っている三條里香は、香織の動向を探っていた。。。。。
本編
人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。
十八歳だった僕には大切な人がいた。

Spatule catches all kinds of animals that found in silt shallow water. She moves her peak rapidly from side to side. When traps a small animal , throws it into the air and swallowed as you can see in the photograph. In this case she has caught a shrimp. The peak size is impressive, and to move it so long and so fast its profile is very thin, so that the resistance in the water is small.

I have published this image before. This is a replica of the kind of collection box used before WWI in many of the Christian missions to Africa. Its visual status and iconography is based on fully-blown racism (you debase a targeted human being first, then you declare yourself the channel of enlightenment and salvation). Christian missions today no longer use such collection boxes, but in their archives and museums you might find the item. What do you do if sculptures or statues depicting prominent proponents of racism and slave trading still grace the city centre?
What is currently happening in the UK is a profound conversation about the meaning of slavery, colonialism, racism and imperialism in today’s public life. People who thought they had no voice are now speaking out, some of them disregarding the rules ‘polite’ society had drawn up for public discussion. Everybody is a learner in this conversation and therefore some patience is required. The matter is too important to be hijacked by hotheads and too hurtful to be kicked in the long grass.

Der Rotmilan (Milvus milvus), auch Roter Milan, Gabelweihe oder Königsweihe genannt, ist eine etwa mäusebussardgroße Greifvogelart aus der Familie der Habichtartigen (Accipitridae).
Im Gegensatz zum nahe verwandten, geringfügig kleineren Schwarzmilan, ist seine Verbreitung im Wesentlichen auf Europa beschränkt. Über 50 Prozent des Gesamtbestandes dieser Art brütet in Deutschland. Zurzeit werden keine Unterarten anerkannt. Die am Rande des Aussterbens stehenden Milane der Kapverden wurden früher als Unterart des Rotmilans aufgefasst (M. m. fasciicauda), gelten aber heute mehrheitlich als eigenständige Art (Milvus fasciicauda).
Der Rotmilan ist eine gut bestimmbare Greifvogelart. Verwechselt werden könnte er am ehesten mit dem Schwarzmilan, doch sind auch zu dieser nahe verwandten Milanart gute Unterscheidungsmerkmale gegeben.
Der Rotmilan ist größer als ein Mäusebussard und etwas größer als der Schwarzmilan; er ist ausgesprochen langflügelig und langschwänzig. Der sitzende Vogel wirkt rötlichbraun, wobei eine deutlich hellere, meist ockerfarbene Federsäumung vor allem der Deckfedern des Oberflügels und des Rückengefieders einen kontrastreichen Gesamteindruck vermittelt. Das Kopf-, Nacken- und Kehlgefieder erwachsener Rotmilane ist sehr hell, fast weiß, und weist auffallende schwarze Federnschäfte auf, die diese Körperpartien schwarz gestrichelt erscheinen lassen. Der ziemlich kräftige Schnabel ist an der Basis gelb, am Schnabelhaken dunkelgrau oder schwarz. Die kurzen Beine sind gelb, die Krallen ziemlich schwarz. Die Iris erwachsener Vögel ist blassgelb. Das deutlich schwarz längsgestrichelte Bauchgefieder ist etwas heller und leuchtender rötlichbraun als das Rückengefieder; ebenso gefärbt sind die Unterflügeldeckfedern. Die Arm- und Handschwingen sind an ihren Enden sehr dunkel, fast schwarz.
Rotmilan im SegelflugIm Flug fallen vor allem die langen, relativ schmalen Flügel und der tief gegabelte, rostrote Schwanz auf, der immer in Bewegung ist und auch voll gefächert eine erkennbare Kerbung aufweist. In der Oberansicht kontrastieren die schwarzen Arm- und Handschwingen stark mit dem übrigen, rötlichbraunen Gefieder. Noch kontrastreicher ist das Flugbild von unten, da die Basen der Handschwingen weiß sind und so ein ausgedehntes weißes Flügelfeld bilden und im Flügelbug meist ein schwarzes Abzeichen zu erkennen ist. Die äußersten, tief gefingerten Handschwingen sind in ihrem letzten Drittel schwarz. Im Segelflug sind die Armschwingen leicht über die Horizontale angehoben, die Handschwingen jedoch gerade oder leicht gesenkt, was ein erkennbar geknicktes Flügelprofil ergibt. Die Flügel sind in fast jeder Flugposition im Carpalgelenk deutlich gewinkelt.
Die Geschlechter unterscheiden sich in der Färbung nicht, auch das Jugendgefieder ähnelt stark dem Erwachsenenkleid. Bestes, und bei sehr gutem Licht auch feldornithologisch brauchbares Bestimmungsmerkmal juveniler Individuen, ist der mehr sandfarbene, nicht hellgrauweiße Kopf und das eher gesprenkelt (nicht längsgestrichelt) wirkende, mehr blass rötlichbraune Bauchgefieder. Bei ganz jungen flüggen Rotmilanen kann der Schwanz am äußersten Rand noch eine Rundung aufweisen, da die äußersten Steuerfedern noch nicht ihre volle Länge erreicht haben.
Der reverse Geschlechtsdimorphismus ist beim Rotmilan ähnlich wie beim Schwarzmilan in Bezug auf die Körpergröße nicht sehr deutlich, etwas ausgeprägter jedoch in Bezug auf das Körpergewicht. Die schwersten Männchen haben ein Gewicht von 1,1 Kilogramm; im Durchschnitt liegt das Gewicht etwas unter einem Kilogramm. Die schwersten Weibchen wiegen 1,4 Kilogramm, das Mittel liegt bei 1,2 Kilogramm. Die Körperlänge variiert zwischen 60 und 73 Zentimeter, wovon zwischen 31 und 39 Zentimeter auf den Schwanz entfallen. Die Spannweite beträgt 150 bis 171 Zentimeter.
The Red Kite (Milvus milvus) is a medium-large bird of prey in the family Accipitridae, which also includes many other diurnal raptors such as eagles, buzzards and harriers. The species is currently endemic to the Western Palearctic region in Europe and northwest Africa, though formerly also occurred just outside in northern Iran.[2] It is a rare species which is resident in the milder parts of its range in western Europe and northwest Africa, but birds from northeastern and central Europe winter further south and west, reaching south to Turkey. Vagrants have reached north to Finland and south to Israel and Libya.[2]
This species was first described by Linnaeus in his Systema naturae in 1758 as Falco milvus.[3]
The Red Kite has been known to successfully hybridize with the Black Kite in captivity where both species were kept together, and in the wild on the Cape Verde Islands.[4] The Red Kites on the Cape Verde Islands are (or rather were) quite distinct in morphology, being somewhat intermediate with Black Kites. The question whether the Cape Verde Kite should be considered a distinct species (Milvus fasciicauda) or a Red Kite subspecies was never really settled. A recent mtDNA study on museum specimens suggests that Cape Verde birds did not form a monophyletic lineage among or next to Red Kites.[5]
However, this interpretation is problematic: mtDNA analysis is very susceptible to hybridization events, the evolutionary history of the Cape Verde population is not known, and the genetic relationship of Red Kites in general is very confusing, with geographical proximity being no indicator of genetic relatedness and the overall genetic similarity high,[6] perhaps indicating a relict species.
Given the morphological distinctness of the Cape Verde birds and the fact that the Cape Verde population was isolated from other populations of Red Kites, it cannot be conclusively resolved at this time whether the Cape Verde population was not a distinct subspecies (as M. migrans fasciicauda) or even species that frequently absorbed stragglers from the migrating European populations into its gene pool. More research seems warranted, but at any rate the Cape Verde population is effectively extinct since 2000, all surviving birds being hybrids with Black Kites (which merely raises further questions about their taxonomic status).[5]
The Red Kite is 60–66 cm (24-27 in) long with a 175–195 cm wingspan; males have a weight of 800–1200 g, and females 1000–1300 g.[2] It is an elegant bird, soaring with long wings held at a dihedral, and long forked tail twisting as it changes direction. The body, upper tail and wing coverts are rufous. The white primary flight feathers contrast with the black wing tips and dark secondaries. Apart from the weight difference, the sexes are similar, but juveniles have a buff breast and belly. The call is a thin piping, similar to but less mewling than the Common Buzzard. There is also a rare white leucistic form which accounts for approximately 1% of hatchlings in the Welsh poulation but is at a disadvantage in the survival stakes.[7]
[edit] Differences between adults and juveniles
Adults differ from juveniles in a number of characteristics:
Adults are overall more deeply rufous, compared with the more washed out colour of juveniles;
Adults have black breast-streaks whereas on juveniles these are pale;
Juveniles have a less deeply-forked tail, with a dark subterminal band;
Juveniles have pale tips to all of the greater-coverts (secondary and primary) on both the upper- and under-wings, forming a long narrow pale line; adults have pale fringes to upperwing secondary-coverts only.
These differences hold throughout most of the first year of a bird's life.

Covers of forgotten 1940s genre crime novels with titles like' This Man is Death', 'Daughters of Shame’ and, shown here, from my own collection, 'Don’t Scare Easy' are bringing unexpected high prices at auction. A collection valued around £4,000 fetched £26,829 recently.
Mainly published by the Kaye brothers - Bernard & Alfred - between 1949 and 1954, the books were judged obscene at the Old Bailey - the Kayes were jailed and two of their authors heavily fined.
Leonard Percy Gard, the artist responsible for many of these lurid covers was acquitted when he proved he did them before the books were even written.
Gard drew for Hank Jansen - one of the genre’s most famous authors - this was a pseudonym for Steve Francis and almost certainly Ace Capelli.
Called wall-to-wall sleaze’ and ‘a cross between the superb and the crass’, the covers are still evocative of this post-war style - though readers might be disappointed to find that the stuff inside is tamer than Mills & Boon now.

Berry's Bay as a whole was a collection of waterfront industries related to timber yards and shipbuilding, with simple waterfront structures and wharfage. It is now abandoned and awaiting redevelopment.

That is the number when it was put up for auction.
No sign was written on the work.
So this work couldn't conclude that it was his work.
However, as a result of various appraisals, it was exposed to the sun.

Main story
There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.
One, to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.
The other, to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days, staring at the shine
quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. It’s a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow, a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left, I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left, how many times did I depend too much on her, doubt her, envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However, I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me, a guy filled with ambiguous, unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

あらすじ
大学を目指している北見ケイは、SNS上で、6歳年上のイベントコンパニオン、上村香織に出会う。
上京してきた香織の夢は、有名なアーティストの友達になるためだ。
そのためにはラジオ局のプロデューサー、大沢亮の存在が必要だった。
大沢は、ラジオの生放送中、香織へ語りかける。
「僕には妻子がある。しかし、僕は君に会いたいと思っている」
ケイの同級生で、彼を想っている三條里香は、香織の動向を探っていた。。。。。
本編
人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。
十八歳だった僕には大切な人がいた。

無駄な色や情報を消し、シンプルに撤することで、目的へ最短に近づく。
職場での上下関係、対応。

スティーブ・ジョブズらは、たいそうなデータやコネでのしあがったのか？
彼は自分が欲しいものを目指した。
もしもデータやコネ、豊かな人間関係が重要だとしたら、日本経済はもっと豊かになっているはず。
ところが、日本経済は最悪な貧困を招いている。
それはジョブズがアイフォンを描けたように、アイフォンを描ける人物を日本の今は産めなかったから。

後の環境によって、さまざまなことが左右されている。
バブル崩壊後、誰もが節約し、【もったいない】ことが美化されたことで、【割り勘男子】が増えてしまった。結果、あらゆる場面で、萎縮してしまい、【割り勘人生】が当たり前になってしまった。【奢らない彼の誕生】。お付き合い、結婚後。うまくいくわけがない。
幼い頃に嫌な思いをしたこと、小さな違和感。
それが小さな夢になる。
１００万人へ訴えるのではなく、たったひとりへ伝えること。それが100万人へ繋がる。

Main story
There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.

I face myself to change tomorrow # a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left # I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left # how many times did I depend too much on her # doubt her # envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However # I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me # a guy filled with ambiguous # unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.

あらすじ
大学を目指している北見ケイは、SNS上で、6歳年上のイベントコンパニオン、上村香織に出会う。
上京してきた香織の夢は、有名なアーティストの友達になるためだ。
そのためにはラジオ局のプロデューサー、大沢亮の存在が必要だった。
大沢は、ラジオの生放送中、香織へ語りかける。
「僕には妻子がある。しかし、僕は君に会いたいと思っている」
ケイの同級生で、彼を想っている三條里香は、香織の動向を探っていた。。。。。
本編
人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。
十八歳だった僕には大切な人がいた。

Main story
There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.
One, to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.
The other, to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days, staring at the shine
quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. It’s a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow, a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left, I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left, how many times did I depend too much on her, doubt her, envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However, I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me, a guy filled with ambiguous, unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

あらすじ
大学を目指している北見ケイは、SNS上で、6歳年上のイベントコンパニオン、上村香織に出会う。
上京してきた香織の夢は、有名なアーティストの友達になるためだ。
そのためにはラジオ局のプロデューサー、大沢亮の存在が必要だった。
大沢は、ラジオの生放送中、香織へ語りかける。
「僕には妻子がある。しかし、僕は君に会いたいと思っている」
ケイの同級生で、彼を想っている三條里香は、香織の動向を探っていた。。。。。
本編
人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。
十八歳だった僕には大切な人がいた。

しかし、人間っていうのは強くない。
うつ病は自殺へつながってしまう。
感情の起伏が、目的までの距離を縮める。
無駄な色や情報を消し、シンプルに撤することで、目的へ最短に近づく。
職場での上下関係、対応。
良い上司はあなたの話に耳を傾けている
スティーブ・ジョブズらは、たいそうなデータやコネでのしあがったのか？
彼は自分が欲しいものを目指した。
もしもデータやコネ、豊かな人間関係が重要だとしたら、日本経済はもっと豊かになっているはず。
ところが、日本経済は最悪な貧困を招いている。
それはジョブズがアイフォンを描けたように、アイフォンを描ける人物を日本の今は産めなかったから。
ジョブズが最後にベッドでつぶやいたこと。
「家族との時間をもっと大切にすべきだった」
ヨースケ ナカガワが幼い僕に言い続けたこと。
「相手の立場に立って物事を考えなさい」
幼い頃から、両親に小言を言われなかった。
実は小学生の頃から、おこづかい制ではなく、必要な時に必要なだけもらっていた。
両親らは、自分がボロい服を着ていていても、子供にはそんな思いをさせようとはしなかった。
小言を言わない。お金に制限を加えない。
そうすることで、父は、僕の想像力を高めようとした。

子供には、小言を言わない。
なぜか。
赤ちゃんは、善意の塊で生まれてきている。
後の環境によって、さまざまなことが左右されている。
バブル崩壊後、誰もが節約し、【もったいない】ことが美化されたことで、【割り勘男子】が増えてしまった。結果、あらゆる場面で、萎縮してしまい、【割り勘人生】が当たり前になってしまった。【奢らない彼の誕生】。お付き合い、結婚後。うまくいくわけがない。
幼い頃に嫌な思いをしたこと、小さな違和感。
それが小さな夢になる。
１００万人へ訴えるのではなく、たったひとりへ伝えること。それが100万人へ繋がる。
たった一人を説けずに、100万人は説けない。
そのちっぽけな夢、初めてであり、小さかった夢を叶えること。
そのちいさな波紋が世界へ広がる。
例えば、最も自分が欲したアイフォンを目指したことで、ジョブズは小さな波紋を世界へ広げた。
もっとも身近な大切な人、たったひとりの人のために。

According to Geoffrey of Monmouth in the "Historia" and much subsequent literature which he inspired, Avalon is the place where King Arthur is taken after fighting Mordred at the Battle of Camlann to recover from his wounds. Welsh, Cornish and Breton tradition claimed that Arthur had never really died, but would inexorably return to lead his people against their enemies. The Blount Building is an historic seven-story Chicago school style office building located at 3 West Garden St., SW corner of Palafox St., Pensacola, Escambia County, Florida. It was built by Charles Hill Turner in 1906-1907 for local attorney William Alexander Blount on the site of the three-story Blount-Watson Building, which had burned on Halloween night in 1905. The building features so-called Chicago windows and contains in its exterior the contain the three parts of a classical column, with the first and second floors being the base of the column, the third through sixth floors the shaft and the seventh floor the capital. The first floor exterior has been changed over the years reflect different retail needs, but the exterior of the upper floors remains intact.
In 1989, the Blount Building was listed in A Guide to Florida's Historic Architecture, published by the University of Florida Press, which described it as a "Fine example of turn-of-the-century commercial architecture in Pensacola.".

Main story
There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.
One # to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.
The other # to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days # staring at the shine
quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. It’s a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow # a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left # I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left # how many times did I depend too much on her # doubt her # envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However # I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me # a guy filled with ambiguous # unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

あらすじ
大学を目指している北見ケイは、SNS上で、6歳年上のイベントコンパニオン、上村香織に出会う。
上京してきた香織の夢は、有名なアーティストの友達になるためだ。
そのためにはラジオ局のプロデューサー、大沢亮の存在が必要だった。
大沢は、ラジオの生放送中、香織へ語りかける。
「僕には妻子がある。しかし、僕は君に会いたいと思っている」
ケイの同級生で、彼を想っている三條里香は、香織の動向を探っていた。。。。。
本編
人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。
十八歳だった僕には大切な人がいた。

１週間経ちましたので、僕の個人的な意見を残します。
僕は今年５４才になりますが、写真を始めた頃はまだ３０代でした。
その最初の数年間のうち、一度だけ、ニコンに公募したことがあります。
が、うざいことを言われたのでやめました。
それ以降、僕はいっさい公募していません。
なぜそうしなかったのか？
僕は若い人たちに期待していたからです。

Morning Alarm photo for the cover of her new CD. She is a very sweet, talented young woman from Maine, and was a real joy to work with. She also has a wonderful program for children called Songwriting for Kids.
Of course I am thrilled with the finished product.

Main story

until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However, I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see

あらすじ
大学を目指している北見ケイは、SNS上で、6歳年上のイベントコンパニオン、上村香織に出会う。
上京してきた香織の夢は、有名なアーティストの友達になるためだ。
そのためにはラジオ局のプロデューサー、大沢亮の存在が必要だった。
大沢は、ラジオの生放送中、香織へ語りかける。
「僕には妻子がある。しかし、僕は君に会いたいと思っている」
ケイの同級生で、彼を想っている三條里香は、香織の動向を探っていた。。。。。
本編
人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。
十八歳だった僕には大切な人がいた。

Having made a specific trip to this unusual seaside pool, I judged my exposure at 70 seconds then watched as (much to my dismay) a small group of synchronised swimmers suddenly appeared and headed for the waters. Those lengthy seconds passed by, and reaffirmed how unpredictable long exposure photography is - much can happen in a relatively short period of time as any practitioner will testify. It certainly hadn't been my intent to include a human angle in the shot, and as a result I initially decided not to post the image here due to my lack of conviction about not only their presence, but the strange effect the water trails they'd left bore on the scene. The experience was also slightly sullied by my being asked to fill in a form by an attendant in case the swimmers were visible - as you can see they can all be readily identified here!
On a completely different note, today has been a good day photographically - which is perhaps odd as I didn't take any photographs. You see, this year I decided for the first time to enter LPOTY, and was really thrilled to receive an email earlier congratulating me on three of my submitted shots being shortlisted for the final judging. Having no experience of the competition previously, I'd be hugely interested to hear from any of you with prior dealings or knowledge of the proceedings. For example, does anyone know roughly how many images are submitted each year, or what percentage are shortlisted, etc? Hopefully you won't shatter my enjoyment by informing me that half of everything received makes it through, but I'd be grateful for any insight anyone can offer.
I genuinely (why is it that word tends to belie it's definition?) don't expect to get any further in the running despite my crossed fingers, but it's a useful learning curve and I'm already planning what I hope will be a much improved submission for next year.

I've published a similar picture once before. This one is edited in a different way. It does the story more justice. This ape (chimpanzee) was cast out of the group and for her own protection she was placed in solitary. Here she became very alone and she would press up against the glass to have a little more contact with the humans looking at her. She would even press her hand against the glass at certain times.
Her name is Bini.
