That was my feeling when stepped into the Boston Central Public Library. Despite having travelled to Boston numerous times, I never been to the Boston Central Public Library before (apparently people still going to libraries). It felt like stepping into an old museum in Europe with beautiful marbles walls and mural paintings decorating the halls and reading rooms. If you are ever in Boston, a visit to this library (no entrance fee) is a must. More photos to come!

It has taken some time, but Templeton finally has its own library building this year. This is no longer needed.
Dear December Diary: Lost the use of my camera this weekend. So I will have to cheat by posting older shots from my archive.

Whithorn is a royal burgh in the historic county of Wigtownshire in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, about 10 miles (16 kilometres) south of Wigtown. The town was the location of the first recorded Christian church in Scotland, Candida Casa "White/Shining House", built by Saint Ninian about 397 CE.
Few years ago, I quit my job in France and I spend 3 months in NYC because I have always dream of living there. It was such a great experience and I have spent a lot of my time in the 5th Avenue Library and especially in the map room. I took my computer and stay hours in this room to develop my creativity by reading, watching videos or reading articles. This place have a special place in my heart for that, I feel like home there
This is a nice little collage created by one of our librarians using the Picasa collage feature. These photos will come in handy, especially since Chumley has *mysteriously* disappeared for the summer, and the children will be helping us find him using clues they acquire as prizes during the summer reading program.
