This was fun to do once I had worked out the light. I reckon I need a stronger light but still I had fun.

I was messing around in picnik and this was the result. I've felt really lazy all week :P

Here is another psychedelic image I created using a neural network designed to recognize patterns and objects in images. The original photo is an HDR image of a narrow canyon in Switzerland I posted last year. It looks kind of creepy, nightmarish, doesn't it?

Google uses this neural network algorithm to find similar images. They wrote the Google Research blog "Inceptionism: Going Deeper into Neural Networks" describing the process. They followed up with another blog, "DeepDream - a code example for visualizing Neural Networks ", explaining how this can be done with code examples.

I processed a balanced HDR photo from a RAW exposure, then applied Google's DeepDream neural network to get these psychedelic faces.

Ever have a psychedelic dream of being at full throttle on a back road at night and wake up, run to the computer and Photoshop to try and duplicate what you dreamt, well I never had the dream but did manage to dream this one up while playing in Photoshop………. Took a shot on a Sierra Mountain road at mid-day but it turned out really bad so inverted it in Photoshop and then used channels to alter the colors, converted to black and white in Topaz Black and White, then colored the sky black and added the green to the trees and color to the road in Quad Tone plus added a border, used Topaz Lens Effect neutral density , Restyle, then Photoshop Selective Color to enhance the sky and trees plus the road color and stripes (had originally kept the stripes yellow but decided the blue looked better), Restyle again for more sky and road effect, then Impression on the trees and Restyle again to finish the tone effects, some final sliding in Photoshop to darken the road at the bottom to give a headlight effect, before adding the Corvette from another photo, (the low comp on the Corvette gives an air born effect) then in Photoshop, brightened the tail lights and added some deceleration flames with reflections in the exhaust, put some blur on the tires for rotation effect, for Slider Sunday……………… Sliders to the max………………………………. I like the vivid colors in this image. The originals were a photo of my grandson in a baby pack carrier and a photo of the drawing from the dust jacket of "Great Tales of the Golden Age of Science Fiction". Photoleap Cloud Wanderer was used to create this image.

A huge rusty grate, playing with colours on this. Original was a bit boring......

This is an extreme closeup of a dandelion flower gone to seed and altered with the wave filter in Photoshop. It came out as this psychedelic looking thing... It makes me think of the recent experience I had with magic mushrooms in Oregon (clinical) in terms of what I was seeing.

I know this is a GMC 9500, however all I can find online with this model number are trucks, not school buses like this. No idea what model year this is.
