I dusted off my camera rotation tool after what feels like months since I last used it. This is Junction 29 on the M1 motorway in Derbyshire where the camera is rotated on it's lens axis in one single exposure.
In these days of AI, every time I post something remotely unusual, I get a snarky comment on other social media about this being a computer generated image. It's not AI, it's real photography!
So grateful for being allowed out every day for exercise, but at the same time I really feel for those who live alone especially the elderly who cannot leave their homes, and really need their friends and family right now.
Ha, this made Explore on January 5th, 2008 - 10 months after uploading it.
That's rain water on our front deck, it was sprinkling when I took these. Radio tower lights are in the distance. I used the macro setting to get more detail in the wood. Thought about cropping the top a bit more. Decided on this crop because I wanted the viewer to know it was a tree and that the photo was taken outside.

You may remember a similar swan in reflection shot that I posted awhile back this is the same place and time but further along!
In a mesmerizing dawn, an enchanting woman from another planet dances through an autumn garden, her vibrant, multicolored hair flowing like a cascade of light. Each strand reflects the hues of the season, blending seamlessly with the rich, warm tones of the leaves surrounding her. Her captivating, colorful eyes sparkle with wonder as she embraces the gentle morning breeze, creating a symphony of movement and color
This psychedelic stripy purple and green lavender beetle, was having it's daily exercise, on the lavender flowers of course!
Actually this this is the $3 million dollars sculpture "Seven Magic Mountains', by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone. Located on Las Vegas Boulevard, but about 15-20 miles south of the strip. For me it begs a performance of Stonehenge, the legendary song my the equally legendary, and punctual band Spinal Tap.

We went to the Saratoga Farmer's Market, where we get our favorite bread from a French bakery and other weekly goodies. The Elgeet 2 Inch f1.5 Cine-Navitar vintage lens creates this very swirly bokeh.
I processed a balanced and a photographic HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

Museum of Communication – "Sounds of Silence"
Have you ever heard the noise of falling snow?
Like noise, silence is an essential part of our lives. By no means a modern phenomenon, it has become increasingly rare.
Whilst more and more people seek moments of quiet in their busy everyday lives, our relationship with silence is an ambivalent one. The idea of complete silence is pleasing and at the same time alarming. This is manifest in the great variety of silence. The time has come to put on a courageous exhibition that allows visitors to experience this potential variety. The exhibits will go way beyond the topics of digital detoxing, noise cancelling and zones of relaxation and will shed light on the societal and historical balance between noise, quiet and silence.
