Repeated explosions caused groups of craters to build up on the shore of Lake Mývatn. They also form some of the islands in the lake.

I know it's an insult to the real art of Bento Boxes, but here's my first try.

I found a take out container and made my own pretend bento. (see my blog post about Bento)

My lunch included rice with scrambled eggs, tomatoes, zucchini, babybel cheese, a plum, and some cottage cheese in the little container.

After cleaning the borrowed close-up filter, I was ready to shoot again. However, I noticed a vignetting in the viewfinder. I took this shot to see if the vignetting in the viewfinder would register on the picture. And it did. I freaked out. Akala ko nasira ko na yung filter. After two minutes, the vignetting disappeared from my shots. I don't know exactly what happened. All I know is that I ended up with an unedited "lomo picture" straight from my digital camera. :D

DALL-E 3 is quite show-offy as generators go, it tends to over-egg the pudding with high-performance baroque thrills even when prompted to do something simple.

I wanted to make cupcakes, but-- being that I still live in a dorm and don't have a fully equipped kitchen-- I don't own a cupcake pan. I decided to make them anyway in ramekins.

They came out very good. The cakes were made using a devil's food cake recipe from the book "The Essence of Chocolate." The icing was also from that recipe, but I tweaked it. The icing recipe called for 62% chocolate. I ordinarily love dark chocolate, but I found even 62% to be too bitter for icing. I added confectioners sugar (which the recipe did not call for at all) which gave the icing more body.

This was getting near the end of when I was bleaching my hair blond.
