‘The Diaspora Stones’ are a collection of pseudo photographic fossils. Artist Carolyn Lefley created them while she was Artist in Residence at an archaeological excavation. Over 200 years after the land Clearances at Kildonan, archaeologists excavated the remains of a buried longhouse, in June 2013. ‘The Diaspora Stones’ are a photographic poem narrating a story of leaving home. Over geological history these stones have moved from all over Scotland to arrive at a beach near the excavation site. These stones have dispersed. So they could also be a kind of geological diaspora. Much like the people in the Clearances, who dispersed from the glens to the sea and beyond.

Liz demonstrates her amazing abdominal muscle pooching.

The park didn't get enough syrup from its maples this year, so they were boiling water at some parts of the demonstration.

Image of our garden in the late afternoon. This image is similar to the previous only I didn't invert the black and white image.

The only road in Damon Point State Park, also known as Protection Island, and it's not connected to any other road.
