Yamaha Dante PCI card. Red for primary, purple for backup. Also has a ProTools card not yet hooked up in this photo, and an AES legacy card that will come out.
Turns out the owner of the venue I was at also had a full fledge recording studio. I believe he said the console used to belong to the Eagles.
Options to record to 2" or to ProTools.
The most basic studio at DMARC centred around a ProTools 003 Factory, Yamaha 02r mixing desk and ATC SCM20 Pro monitors.
Louise Palanker, who I like to call me, and my good friend, Laura Swisher are launching our own Podcast called "Weezy and The Swish." The show features lively discussion, healthy debate and self obsorbed, personal gossip.
84/365 - Ted Leo and the Pharmacists - "Hearts of Oak"
I was walking along some downtown avenue
I was whistling a new song to myself
And it went, it went something like this one
But I just couldn't get it to end
But I was talking about this song to this friend of mine
And she sang me a new song of her own
She said, she said the cards were still stacked against her
But she said she could still do it alone
And I saw for all of us, she spoke:
"Won't you stand up for the Hearts of Oak?"
So I was listening to this song by this friend of mine.
I was hearing what she said, I was feeling her rage.
She said, “No weak, no weak heart shall prosper!"
She said, "Nothing's wrong, and I belong on this stage."
And I was for all of us, she spoke:
"Won't you stand up for the Hearts of Oak?"
And I saw her stand - she couldn't be broken.
And I saw her show, her heart of oak again and again and again and again
If you think, if you think, everything is cool (Yeah, yeah)
can't you hear, can't you hear what the girl goes through? (Yeah, yeah)
Can you tell, can you tell me that it's not true? (No, no)
Can you find, can you find hearts of oak in you?
When the night, it ends, and you've awoken
Won't you stand up with your heart of oak again?
Like the girl withstands - she can't be broken
Won't you stand up for your Hearts of Oak again and again and again and again
I was walking along some downtown avenue
I was sharing the sidewalk with my friend
We were singing this song together, and it sounded so good
We said, we said, "Let's sing it again!" (and it had no end)
I had the pleasure of having to record the great guys of Donut Brothers (www.donutbrothers.dk).
We had a great night, and got some good tunes tracked, and while they were playing, listening or reviewing the recordings, I snapped some pics of them.

I chose my music studio for challenge #1. This studio has features my piano, guitar, microphone, and PC. Regarding producing music, I have Protools which is a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) on my PC. My studio really became normal to my life during junior year of highschool. I was balancing my life with this engineering program and music. However it didn't take me long to realize that I wanted to pursue music full time. This was when the idea of a studio came into mind. Now I practically live down here in my studio :3. This is a little side note, but one of the first things I touch when I wake up in the morning is the piano you see in the picture.
