I am bragging!!
I am so proud of Amber, she is going into her senior year with a 3.0 GPA, she is vice president of her class, and a great musician. I hope she has fun this year, I know I am having a blast watching her progress.
I remember when I got the proofs on my senior class picture. I did not have a hard time choosing my favorite because they were all ugly to me. Amber’s are all so nice it is hard to choose a favorite….ok maybe I am a little bias.

Written by David Auburn and directed by Oberlin College theater major Maya Sharma ’15, the play is the tale of Catherine, 25, a troubled young woman, who has spent years caring for her brilliant but unstable father, a famous mathematician. After his death, she must deal with her own volatile emotions; the arrival of her estranged sister, Claire; and the attentions of Hal, a former student of her father’s who hopes to find valuable work in her father’s notebooks.
A burgeoning romance and the discovery of a mysterious notebook draw Catherine into the most difficult problem of all: How much of her father's madness—or genius—will she inherit?

Proof that this wasn't all a dream! (lol) From left to right: Herman, Mr.Yballe, Bishop Merrill Adamson, Mrs.Yballe, and Hospicio Jr. III.
After seeing the coffee splash photos on Flickr's blog today, I thought I'd give it a try myself. Didn't have coffee and cookies, so just gave it a go with water and ice. This is more a proof of concept as the lighting is way too low, so I couldn't get the shutter speed I wanted. I'll try it again in the daylight. Might try it with milk next time for a different effect.

It's amazing to see copy go out with such a terrible mistake. Not only did they misspell the very 1st word, but they continue to refer to Abode's Flash player and what not, basically spelling it wrong every single time.
This screen shot is from www.themoneytimes.com/reviews/20091110/rim-teams-abode-im... but the copy error went out all over the world and was reprinted in several websites.

"So I waited for you
What wouldn't I do
And I'm wrapped up, it's true
I'm wrapped up in you
And if I ever want proof
I find it in you
Yeah I honestly do
In you I find proof"
~Coldplay
Well, finally got them hitched. And its about stinking time too. No big messups except for a little flub with the music. Oops. I'll explain more in the blog.
But through it all, there are two things I've learned from this whole ordeal.
1. I like shooting weddings much more than being in them.
2. I'm eloping.

These proofs of some record covers done by Flora were actually matted and framed by the artist. They were presented at the Fantagraphics Bookstore off the side, next to tons of books.
