FHA Commissioner Tours Philadelphia Promise Zone Federal Housing Administration Commissioner Carol Galante and Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter toured the Mantua neighborhood on March 7, 2014, which is one of the first five communities to be designated a Promise Zone. Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell and Eva Gladstein of the Mayor’s Office of Community Empowerment and Opportunity also toured the area.

The Bánh Bò Nướng recipe I baked was not anything like the book's result - it didn't even finish cooking. This rather unusual rice flour and coconut milk based sweet today was one of the "test" recipes for the cookbook "A World of Cake" by Krystina Castella. The recipe in the book was different from any others I researched - I never got the bubbles, or the ripples, the photos showed. There's definitely something missing!
