Well, here it goes. Day 1 of the 365 day project.
I was trying to get used to my Aiptek video/camera thingy-majig. Got to get used to the settings and it can be sort of shaky. I also gave the photo some color in photoshop. It was really washed out beforehand.
A broken metal serving spoon brought me to these automotive ruins yesterday.
A few months ago the spoon gave up the ghost when the head separated from the handle. It was poorly welded.
Because it was such an effective tool, I had to have it repaired. Miraculously, there's a welder here who will take on any projects, no matter how small.
While the welder restored my spoon to working order, I toured the huge wild garden at the back of his lot. I came across this project car on my return to his shop.
I liked the way the phone was hanging off the hook, you know like those phone booths in the Matrix films...? Hehehehe
These are my six beautiful children. They love to eat your film regularly, but I'm afraid I may not be able to afford to with so many eager mouths to feed.

It is a colleague's birthday today. In true 'NZ is a small world and Wellington even more so' fashion, it turns out that the flatmate of another colleague is best friends with someone connected to the birthday girl. That flatmate made the birthday girl this gift. He designed and folded it himself. She was thrilled with it.

This will be my last entry for this project. I have started my own group, "One Object 365 Days Project" and I am having trouble keeping up with both groups. As you can see from the photo, my son has started back to school, (we live by the almighty planner now), and I am finding it increasingly difficult to come up with a photo a day that I am proud of and want to upload. I find myself just doing whatever I have to so I can get a decent shot for the day. That is not what I want my flickr experience to be, I want it to be fun and I want to upload photos that I am proud of and want to share with the world. I am not doing that these days, it feels more like work. So my "Project 365" journey ends here. I will still be uploading a photo a day of a single tree to my other 365 days group (inspired by this one.) So stop by and check out the tree from time to time if you're interested! ~smile~ Good luck to all of you, and I hope your 365 days are great ones!
A problematic project because how does one choose?
I adore all the regions of these Fairelands and will post about 5-6 photos in the next day (before the Fairelands fade back) to showcase those worlds that spoke so very clearly to me for various reasons. My clear favorite will close out this series.

Public Art Project which was started in 2009 on a 100m stretch of brick wall which has vibrant pictures by diverse artists responding to a set theme every year.This is an ideal setting to promote the work of local artists and encourage visitors to continue their journeys to nearby Portobello Road and Golborne Road markets.
Cargo VTOL Dropship. This is a sort of "practice build" for using the light up wire on my big SHIP, where it'll really shine.

Project successful... Specimen showing signs of continued organic life... Transfer is a success.
We will keep the specimen quarantined for the next 3 days... Then it will be released for a trial run. I have great confidence that the run will be a grand success.
