'Over the top'

The fortified town of Pontito (749 meters above sea level), known since the 9th century as a possession of the bishops of Lucca, stands close to the source of the Pescia river. The village has retained its structure of fortified town intact over the centuries; inside it, the built-up area is organized according to a particular pyramid shape, where at the top stands the Church of SS. Andrea e Lucia, a robust stone construction of Romanesque origin. A walk inside this town, whose shape resembles an inverted fan lying on the soft uncontaminated nature, reveals to the eye of the visitor artistic signs of a remarkable level that once expressed the dignity of the place. Of the surrounding walls and the keep that used to stand behind the church, very little remains. The town lies at about 15 km from the city of Pescia, far into the deep of the mountains, thing that preserved it in time, but which also marked its fate, making it today a ghostly town which wakes up only in summer, due to its difficult access.

I have been wanting to make a Flo minifigure for some time with simply no time to sculpt the hair piece. Since the LEGO Movie figures are now out there is a perfect hairpiece that simply needs to be in a slightly different color and BAM, you have FLO.

Added a small rubber band for the hair band and the gun and Flo is armed for the ever dangerous world of Insurance.

Before the frac sand boom stole the sexy power away to PGR's operation in Wisconsin, it was possible to shoot these SD's every weekday between Northfield and Lakeville.

This was a Monday after a big weekend snowfall; instead of going to work (I had a normal 9-5 gig at the time), I sat and waited (and waited) for these guys to get rolling. Caught some flack at work, because some project that I can't remember had deadlines looming, but clearly my judgement was sound.

PGR 42 is an ex-Reserve Mining SD38-2; trailing is PGR 40, an original MN&S (to SOO and MTM) SD39. As of 2014, both are still in service for PGR on their Wisconsin Northern operation, one being leased to frac sand facility, the other still in road service.

we were all trying to find ways to avoid that big black tube and that plant, at least I have no success. Lights get progressively more bright, it is the best when we first got there.

Not much added so far. And yes, most of her is the basic Metru build, and probably won't get more complex than that. A lot of placeholder colors, although I'm sure red socks could look good :P

Progressive Field bleachers in Cleveland, Ohio where the Chicago Cubs played against Cleveland Indians to win the 2016 Baseball World Series.

Don't know much about baseball but took this shot last summer when we stopped by the area briefly. I like the repeating patterns.

A deflated basketball sits near one of Fort Wayne's notorious apartment complexes. Across the street and nearly a century ago, the area was the birthplace and thriving center of the automotive gas pump world.

These are from the still going strong little convenience store (7-11) garden. I had about 10 like the ones on the right and probably 10 delicious raspberries. I probably should have taken them home and washed them, but they were so good I just couldn't wait!
