Progress on my Madtini sock.
I was inspired by the pattern but the dark yarn was eating up the stitches so I translated it into the start of a baby sweater.
Green is Lisa Souza Emerald City
Purples are worsted merino that I dyed.
Work in progress, "playing with fire".
Making the flames in illustrator...lots of details to add before edit it in photoshop.
The plan is to build a new railway at the top end of the garden - our garden is uphill away from the house so the bottom of our garden is called the top!
After removal of ivy and shrubs I am left with some scrap materials to up-cycle or take to the council dump. The redundant water-butt and the two compost bins will need to be considered before the final layout is decided on.
It has been so hot that it's hard to get to good shots. Some were taken in the mid afternoon and some in the evening. Just documenting the progress of the garden for the midseason point for the year.
Gut a historic (or historic looking) building. Leave it sitting while fighting with the city. Win and put a modern office tower inside and above.
How do I keep my sanity living in Jerusalem? Sometimes I even wonder.
One way is through crafting...here is my mirror as it's in progress. It's the largest mirror in my house so I use it when I'm not working on it.
It's really hard to take a picture of a mirror...but here is my attempt. The mirror should be rotated....oops.
