First Saturday morning reading the paper in the living room. Not too many boxes left.

 

Snowing this morning a bit. Just flurries. Gave me an excuse to linger though.

From early rail tracks to today’s cars, The Lesner Bridge has been a major factor in transportation for the northern part of the city. The current renovation to the bridge is well underway and progressing well, all while keeping this important artery open.

The Progress Bulletin building in downtown Pomona, CA. The Progress Bulletin was a newspaper published from 1884 to 1906. I did not find a specific date for when the building was built, but the earliest picture of it that could be found was from 1932.

A long day....made all the worse by being hungover and having literally an hour's sleep. But we ploughed on, helped by the hair of the dog.

Progress on the new Queensferry Crossing of the Firth of Forth on 15th September with some sections of decking now in place at the South Queensferry end. As viewed from the train on the Forth Bridge through a zoom lens, 15th September, 2015, with the new works framed by the Forth Road Bridge.

Well, they put on the tar paper and have wrapped the house today. Got a call from the Project Manager today and he said that windows will be delivered and hopefully installed on Monday! We're getting closer!!!

Ivy is progressing nicely - Her wings are almost stitched and I've done most of the beading on the skirt of her dress. She needs some legs though! I think she should be done in a couple of weeks.

 

The South Wall, Dublin

Since I'm doing the 101 things in 1001 days, I figure I'd show the progress of number 97 on the list: let my hair grow out to 10 inches. I think this is the longest I have had a hair cut and its about 6 inches now. Its pretty interesting what it will look like at 10. Nice picture to start off my 101 things in 1001 days set.
