Earlier this week, I headed to London to meet with a surgeon who will be undertaking my GRS.

She confirmed that she is happy to operate on me and that the surgery will be in March / April 2022. Yes, NEXT YEAR!!

This is BIG!

If I'm honest, I'm petrified about the surgery and not looking forward to it, nor the recovery, but I realise I have to go through with it to get the results I want.

Let the countdown commence...

Cameron is starting to make progress on the new build

Looks like I still cutomize dolls! That's a work in progress, I've done some modifications to the suclpt, can you guess the mold?

... in my studio. In the centre of the frame is a watering can of which I am adding mosaic art. Once the letters (which are applied in reverse) are glued to the watering can, water is applied to the paper backing to reveal blue tiles, in the form of my best friend's name, Trevor and his partner, Sean. It will be part of their wedding present in September if all goes well with the project.

The art form of mosaicing is called the indirect method. It takes a bit more concentration than the direct method of tiling, but it's also great fun.

Ok, I've been busy, Just binding and label to go, but please, please, please partner - would you like a hangin sleeve? I need to to know asap before I add the binding.

In the mean time, the beds need making and the ironing is calling :)

Do You like?

Well, I made some progress today. Tweeking the design as I go, naturally! I tried paper piecing, but didn't like all the bulk I was getting from the seams, so it will be fused, raw edge applique. Thinking I might swap out those three pale geese, though - waddaya think?

If you think the face of the Pendolino is looking a bit perplexed it’s due to the cover plate not being seated correctly.

Only the center block is fully quilted here. Just a progress shot to show the whole top.

Don't worry, another is on the way :)

Terrance is really tired. He can't remember how long he's been flying, but, he knows he's really hungry and thirsty. He thought it wouldn't be any problem flying to the other side of the photo, but, he just doesn't seem to be making any progress. It kind of made him think he was fighting against the government, not air.

Puppetness. She's sitting on the ground through the whole animation so luckily the bottom part of her skirt won't really be visible.

Her belts and necklaces are just to be added now. Well, as are her hands and head... and accessories...

Her sleeves are more puffy than they look and they will be stuffed before the animation as well.

Her plan

In a few hours this white flower will have an intense violet color. The wonderful thing about the natural world where everything has its time.

I decided I cut away all of the procreate and just repaint the head, this happened literally 5 minutes from when this was uploaded. Tell me what you think! Comments more appreciated than faves!

A regular target fro my phone, considerable progress has been made on this site since I last saw it in Janaury

Progress on interior. All the wallpaper is done except for a really cute cupcake border I need to add to the bakery (lower left room), but I need to do ceiling trim first. The flooring paper isn't glued in yet. Next will be window and door trim, ceiling trim, etc.

I'm going to back off from my projects for a couple weeks because my sister is coming!! We are planning a couple of "craft days" though : ) : )

the young lady walks past, almost certainly oblivious to the fact that the building to her right was for over 200 years, between 1793 until 2013 "the devonshire arms" until jamie oliver came along, turned it into an over-priced restaurant and slapped his name all over it. that's progress folks.

It was created on the premises of the former Józef John Iron Foundry from the 19th century (1866), Łódź, Poland.

The photo shows the warehouse of the former foundry after modernization, integrated with a new apartment building. In the space of the former iron foundry, a cultural and entertainment complex, offices, services and gastronomy was created. Łódź contrasts.

Would like to update everyone as to what is going on and once again thank everyone for you warm thought, prayers and support over the past days!! A huge step forward was taken today and it was a most rewarding day!! We went from barely being able to sit up on the edge of the bed with a constant help from two nurses on Friday night to Georgia being able to get out of bed by herself this morning and standing up!! She was able to take tiny dance steps and sit in a wheelchair and make a break from the confines of a hospital bed today! They evaluated her thoroughly and now have a baseline to work from for the coming days of a very aggressive routine!! It's the best to do things after a stroke as the first 90 days following a stroke is where most of the gains are made!! I only wish that I had time to check out photos and such but long hours at the hospital don't permit much free time!! I left my daughter in charge while I went shopping for some workout clothes for Georgia and just got away from the long hours!!

These are archive photos and there is no need for comments! I am positing these merely to keep everyone informed about the progress and where we stand!! Wishing everyone a wonderful day!! Peace and blessings to all!!
