Seton Hall University’s first PirateThon was a huge success. The 18-hour dance marathon was the result of ten months of planning and took place between Saturday, February 23 and Sunday, February 24.
More than 350 students from across the University community raised more than $25,000 to benefit The Valerie Fund, a local nonprofit organization which supports children with cancer and blood disorders. This extraordinary display of servant leadership reflects Seton Hall’s highest principles and values.

Yoga Anatomy: This is a big part of a 200 hr YTT program. All Yoga teachers need to understand the structure of the human body to increase the effectiveness of asanas and protect the body from injuries. Make sure your teacher training program has a strong anatomy section.
Yoga studio experience: It’s important to select a yoga school that is reputable and has vast experience in running YTT certification programs. Make sure the yoga studio you have selected has conducted 40+ 200 hrs YTT batches and could deliver testimonials from students who become yoga teachers from there.
Number of students: Check out how students do your batch hold during the 200 hr YTT course. You will receive more individual attention, thorough feedback, and comprehensive classes in a smaller batch of a 200 hr ytt certification program.
Yoga alliance certified: Another important aspect to check out before joining a 200 hr YTT program. If you want to teach at some point in the future, make sure the yoga school you prefer is certified by Yoga Alliance.
Evaluate course syllabus: Study the curriculum and ask about how many hours are dedicated to each topic if not already defined. Pick a 200 hr YTT program that speaks your language.

Get with the Program is a nonprofit organization created by Jason Williams ’05 that promotes and reinforces literacy in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) among P-12 students.

The Citizenship Law-Related Education Program (CLREP) kicked off its third "Trials & Tribulations" fundraiser, held June 7, 2018, at Westminster Hall in Baltimore, with a major announcement. After more than 40 years as MSBA's arm in Maryland schools, the organization responsible for such law-related youth programs as the MSBA High School Mock Trial Competition and Baltimore City Teen Court, among others, unveiled its new name: Maryland Youth & the Law, or MYLAW.
The event's theme, "A Family Affair", featured storytellers from prominent Maryland legal families, including Judge Joseph Murphy, Rebecca Murphy, Martin Welch, Jr., Jodie Buchman, Judge George Russell, III, and Judge George Russell, Jr.
More than 100 people attended the event.
