As in previous years, the Trade Facilitation Programme (TFP) of the EBRD invited its
members and everyone interested in the topic of international and intra-regional trade finance banking to attend the annual TFP event within the framework of the Annual Meeting. TFP currently includes over 100 Issuing Banks in the EBRD region and more than 800 Confirming Banks worldwide. In the last two years, the Programme provided essential support to its members and secured substantial flows of trade finance transactions under crisis-ridden market conditions. This year’s one-day event organised in a conference format offered a unique opportunity to share contemporary trade finance banking expertise including trends, specifics, and intricacies through presentations by professional trade finance bankers and specialists. The event also provided the stage for signing agreements with banks that have recently joined and hosted an award ceremony for the most active TFP banks of 2011
Really pleased with this, having been a photographer at the fest for the last three years was a real buzz to have a photo in the programme. And I was credited. And they spelt my name right! Hooray :) Thankyou The Cads & BBC Suffolk
Page from the theatre programme for a production of "Sybil" at the Hippodrome Theatre, Keighley, staged by Keighley Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society in February 1937. This page includes a list of KAODS officials including the Mayor as President and Percy Taylor as Chairman of Committee.
Keighley Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society's production of "Sybil" played at the Hippodrome Theatre in Keighley for six nights (and a Saturday matinee) from Monday 15th February 1937. The military comic opera was written by Max Brody and Franz Martos, with music by Victor Jacobi and lyrics by Harry Graham and Harry B. Smith. The KAODS production was produced by H. Flockton Foster, with musical director R. Lewis Scargill.
The story is set in pre-Revolutionary Russia. Sybil Renaud (played by Rhoda Heap), a talented vocalist is touring Russia accompanied by impressario Monsieur Charles Poire (W. Lupton Brooks). Lieutenant Paul Petrov of the Imperial Guard (Arthur Day) falls in love with Sybil and deserts his post to be with Sybil as she travels to Bomsk. The Governor of Bomsk (Ernest Marsden) is preparing the town for a visit by the Grand Duke and Duchess Constantine. Sybil is mistaken for the Duchess, an error she plays along with in order to prevent Lieutenant Petrov being punished as a deserter. The Grand Duke (Eric B. Broster) arrives and plays along with the conceit, but when the Grand Duchess (Edith Clarke) finds out what is happening she is less than impressed. The confusion continues until Sybil confesses all and everyone lives happily ever after. As the programme put it: "Add to the above the many smart officers and ladies, in brilliant uniforms and gorgeous costumes, really tuneful music, and delightful scenic effects and dances, and you have in 'Sybil' a general ensemble that will please the eye and, we trust, entrance the senses of those who witness it."
The show also starred Margaret Best, Alan Petty, John Mitchell, Clifford Heap, Fred Gillott, Albert E. Shepherd and Harry Moore.
The 48-page programme was designed and printed by The Keighley Printers Ltd. of High Street, Keighley. It measures approximately 185mm by 250mm. The programme was part of an anonymous donation given in 2022.

I got an email a few weeks back from a Countryfile researcher, thankfully I was in Dorset.
I've since found out that they have been filming great crested newts in the forest & discussing the grazing of cattle.
I spoke to the ecologist and asked if they were thinking about filming other local herps.
He doesn't think so but they kept on changing their minds in regards to filming.
He also declined to be on the programme.
We have enough numpties locally without advertising :^)

The M.G.B is perhaps the quintessential classic car, the beautiful styling by Don Hayter and his team at M.G.'s Abingdon home has stood the test of time and, remarkably for a car that came out in 1962, many are still in use as daily drivers. However, Frontline have turned the M.G.B into a leather and Alcantara-lined luxury bespoke supercar with modern levels of reliability and fantastic nimble handling that echoes a Caterham 7.
The 289b.h.p. 2.5-litre twin-cam four delivers a 0-60 time of 3.8 seconds, with a high-revving banshee soundtrack and is mated to a slick six-speed gearbox. The suspension, braking and power-assisted steering have been redesigned for the 21st century, provide great feel and matching input rates, making this superbly developed car great fun to drive. It was described by Richard Meaden in EVO magazine as "one of the most enjoyable and desirable cars I've driven all year", and is a very special car indeed.

Page from the theatre programme for a production of "Rose Marie" at the Hippodrome Theatre, Keighley, staged by Keighley Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society in February 1936. This page includes a portrait of understudy Winifred Hibberd, and acknowledgments of Willis Walker sports outfitter and Beechcliffe Riding School.
Keighley Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society's production of "Rose Marie" played at the Hippodrome Theatre in Keighley for six nights from Monday 10th February 1936. The romantic musical had music by Rudolf Friml and Herbert Stothart, with book and lyrics by Otto Harbach and Oscar Hammerstein. The KAODS production was produced and directed by Herbert Coates, with musical director Joseph Harker.
The story starts out in the Canadian Rockies at a hotel where Rose Marie La Flamme (played by Rhoda Heap) and pioneer Jim Kenyon (Arthur Day) have fallen in love, much to the disapproval of Rose Marie's brother, Emile (Oswald Hill). The hotel is run by Lady Jane (Margaret Best) who is torn between two suitors. Native Canadian Wanda (Noreen Spencer) murders her husband, Black Eagle (W. Bruce Johnston), but blames Jim who flees to prove his innocence. Rose Marie reluctantly gives Jim up and consents to marry Edward Hawley (Ernest Marsden) in Quebec, when Wanda admits her crime and Rose Marie and Jim are reunited. Probably the most famous song from the musical is the 'Indian Love Call'.
The show also starred Jack Catterson, Frank Goodwin, Peggy Eaton, Albert Shepherd and Winifred Hibberd. The Director of Dancing was Miss Doris H. Adams.
The 44-page programme was printed by The Keighley Printers Ltd. of High Street, Keighley. It measures approximately 184mm by 249mm. Two copies of the programme were part of an anonymous donation received by the History Society in 2022. The second copy is autographed by the cast and crew.
