This play was set in an old London Baths. A group of women used it to bathe and gossip and, of course, take off their clothes! Got used to it after a short while and it turned out to be an excellent play.

Rother Valley Disused Railway Walk 03/04/2017
Today's walk was to be an exploration of the Rother Valley's disused railways, using the Trans Pennine Trail as my starting point. A programme I sometimes use for planning walks is "WalkJogRun", which uses Google Satellite Imagery as its base map. With this, I can plot a route and measure it with a high degree of accuracy (depending on the type of terrain) as the map is interactive.
It was whilst using that programme one day that I zoomed in to an area on the west side of Rother Valley Country Park, near Killamarsh in north-east Derbyshire, and noticed an old railway bridge I previously hadn't known about, crossing the present railway line known to rail enthusiasts as the North Midland "Old Road". Fascinated by local railway history, I decided to investigate further and find out what I could. During my research I came across a photo right here on Flickr showing a rather dilapidated lattice girder bridge belonging to the old Great Central Railway, and as it is still extant I made the decision to go out and photograph it myself at a later date. Being so close to a part of the Trans Pennine Trail I'm very familiar with, it shouldn't take too much finding.
But then on another occasion, as I was planning today's walk, I suddenly spotted the remains of a second bridge hidden away in woodland on the opposite side of the TPT and a similar distance from it. I could find no information on this one, except that the line had once been part of the "Beighton Branch" of the old LD & ECR (Lancashire, Derbyshire & East Coast Railway), but it might be worth investigating on the ground to find out what still remains of this bridge. In all honesty I didn't expect to find much more than what can be seen in the above image, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Here is more than just a mere single-span bridge, but quite a substantial viaduct with several brick-built arches, as well as the central girder section visible above, and that took me completely by surprise when I stumbled across it during my walk.
The satellite image above shows the Great Central's bridge on the left, close to the Trans Pennine Trail which is clearly visible running north to south, slightly left of centre. The LD & ECR bridge can be seen at the lower right amidst the trees. The next series of photos show both the Great Central bridge and the LD & ECR viaduct.
Angkor Thom was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire. It was established in the late twelfth century by king Jayavarman VII. It covers an area of 9 km², within which are located several monuments from earlier eras as well as those established by Jayavarman and his successors. At the centre of the city is Jayavarman's state temple, the Bayon, with the other major sites clustered around the Victory Square immediately to the north.
